I don’t see why we can’t just have a flat tax rate for all income levels.

Beyond that, I wonder if some of these think tanks would run an analysis of what the likely outcome would be if taxes stayed as they are now, or even a little higher, but regulations were all but entirely removed.

Also all but eliminating the incredibly hostile legal environment we all have to operate in.

I bet that would do more to turbocharge the economy that lowering taxes but keeping the onerous and punitive regulations and laws Americans are subject to.

The good news is that Trump recognizes the immense cost of government regulation and has said that a tremendous amount of these regulations will be eliminated. I think he named Newt as the resource to run the project.
