Thanks for posting. I’m not sure my observations will be of interest but I was there and here they are:
I didn’t get in which I have to admit I’m bummed about but it was still nice to go meet some supporters. We all felt the same, we knew we weren’t getting in (the line was ridiculously long, I was actually surprised even though I read about this all the time with his rallies.).
The protesters were so feeble. All they had was name-calling, we basically laughed at them. The crowd was very diverse and I spent most of the time standing next to and talking to a Jamaiican guy. There were blacks and Asians and whites.
I’m not very social and though I love Trump I wasn’t sure how it would be with Trump supporters, at home I’m surrounded by liberals. As soon as I joined the line there was a nice guy with long hair and he was very friendly and made the points we all pretty much agree with in FR.
I met some other very nice people. There is an actual common affinity and it was eye opening. Even though I didn’t get in I’m so glad I went.
Yes, it’s nice to know you’re not alone.
We already know it here at FR, but there’s something about physically being around so many others who are like minded that’s invigorating.
Wow!! Thanks so much for attending...and for the great report and pics, y’all!
Amazing...that in WA, Trump broke attendance records.
So glad you all had a chance to witness history :)
Great report! Exactly same feelings I came away with. The protesters..all together...less than 75. They all looked very unhappy and depressed. One of them especially had a vicious look on his face. Good thing there were lots of police around. Everyone in the ridiculously long line was friendly and exuberant. One couple had driven 100 miles to be there! We talked to lots of police on the way out since we exited a bit early to beat the traffic, and talked to at least a dozen police officers to get directions to our car several blocks away, and none of them were from Everett.
