John McCain Is About To Do Something That Would Hand The Election To Hillary Clinton
Twitter American Patriot Daily News Network ^ | July 7, 2016

After attending a fundraiser for John McCain’s Senate re-election — a campaign in which McCain is locked in a tight race with conservative primary challenger Kelli Ward — Kristol mused on Twitter if McCain would run as an independent candidate in the presidential election.

But while Kristol was just speculating, McCain added intrigue to the Stop Trump movement with his surprise announcement that the delegates should be free to vote their conscience at the upcoming Republican Convention

The names and addresses of every delegate need to be made public.

Same here. Voted for McCain with some enthusiasm because of Palin (only lost full enthusiasm because of how the McCain campaign treated Palin). Would have voted for McCain only to vote against Obama. Also voted for Romney as a vote against Obama. Did not really care for either of them.

I won’t be surprised if McCain loses to Kelli Ward.

Voters don’t love incumbents.

McCain has been there since Ronald Reagan’s day.

Why are you lumping Ted Cruz with those others?

You're right. He shouldn't be lumped with them. He should be lower.

The man obviously has lost his mind...

I don’t think McCain would get 5 % of conservative voters...

Though he might pull about 20 % of democrat voters...

Well, at least people have actually heard of McCain, unlike the last guy, French, that Kristol floated.

That’s not true, it is his lack of support for Trump coupled with Cruz’s delegates wanting to change the rules. Ted has not stood up and said he does not support their efforts. I personally believe this is because he does support their efforts.

Delegates should be and are free to vote their conscience at the Republican Convention. If they are not comfortable following the law and the will of the voters, they can resign and allow a replacement delegate to represent the will of the voters. If it happens more than once, they can become democrats, where breaking the law is admired by their living (and dead/fictional/illegal) constituents.

Why are you lumping Ted Cruz with those others?

The real question here is, "Why do you STILL not get it?"

And you yourself know why this pos may in fact play this or ANY card to get Hillary elected
1 the pos is a democrat, as the rep nominee,he wanted Lieberman as his vice
John Kerry wanted McLettuce as Kerry’s vice

2, documents ,his name is all over the Clinton Foundation, he funded Isis in Syria
and he and Carl Levin used Lois Lerner to attack the 501c Tea Party
Rope is too good for this pos

You are right about the run as an independent. Just added that as part of the story, and the fact that Kristol still thinks this is a viable option. Kristol is nothing more than an idiot.

The real part of the story here is McCain's support to change the rules to free the delegates.
