o, for the umpteenth time in the last several weeks, Hillary Clintons campaign is attempting to explain to Americans how she will take on wild card Donald Trump in the general election. And for the umpteenth time, shes failing. A woman with all the charm of a 1980s-era withered plastic sofa cover will try to outplay a man who got famous being likeable on television. And shell do it with policy! POLICY, I TELL YOU!
According to The New York Times today, Hillarys speech today in San Diego will target Trump over his foreign policy incoherence:
The argument will include specific criticism of comments Mr. Trump has made about rethinking the United Statess support of NATO; his proposal to allow Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia to acquire nuclear weapons; his vow to temporarily bar Muslims from entering the United States; and his pledge to advance the use of torture and kill the families of suspected terrorists. But Mrs. Clinton will also invoke her experiences as secretary of state, including in 2011 when she supported President Obamas decision to send Navy SEALs on a raid in Pakistan that killed Osama bin Laden, to make the case that Mr. Trump does not have the temperament to make such decisions.
Epic, epic fail.
Now, Hillarys right about Trumps foreign policy. Its disastrous at last what hes expressed of a foreign policy. But Hillarys own record is even more disastrous. And trying to stand on the body of Osama Bin Laden to push her election bid reeks of inauthenticity and, whats more, trying to make the case that Trump doesnt have the temperament to kill Bin Laden is absolutely asinine. If theres one thing Trump does have the temperament to do, its tell the military to kill people. Hell, the man even says hell have the military violate all basic standards of morality and law and purposefully murder family members of terrorists.
Beyond that, Hillary outhawking Trump doesnt help her it hurts her with Bernie supporters. And hawkish Republicans dont trust Hillary, not after her disastrous dealings with Syrian dictator Bashar Assad and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Thats the problem for Hillary: her record is so terrible that Trump always has an easy comeback.
Take, for example, Hillarys twitter feed. Here are some of her tweets, along with quick one line responses Trump could dump on her:

This is true of all of your Democratic voters.
Hillary is endlessly vulnerable. Furthermore, she has no angle of attack on Trump: all of his foibles are doubly true of her. Which is why shes in trouble.
Now, he still has a massive statistical hill to climb in this election cycle. Shes leading him in all the swing states, she hasnt consolidated her Bernie base yet, and shes about to unleash President Obama to prod minority voters to get behind her. But shes incompetent. Deeply incompetent. And Trump is an attack dog par excellence. At the very least, this is going to be a combustible election.
LOL! I wondered where you were going with that... :)
Beck is crumbling under the strain of displeasing his #NeverTrump Wall Street masters, but it looks like Shapiro is going to be more agile, and attempt to stay relevant during at least one term of President Trump. That’s going to be tricky, unless he gets the blessing to go full Trojan Horse while waiting for Trump to falter.
Of course, if the populist, America first conservatism that Trump represents turns out to be two term phenomenon, or even worse, a movement that survives without Trump at the helm, these talkers will get one more shot as attack dogs, and then cucumber sandwich guys who own them will have them cast aside and they’ll just hire some new talent.
What’s a former “conservative” talker to do without the book deals, speaking engagements and such?
No wonder Beck is distraught. It’ll be amazing to see how many try to pull an Ariana out of their butts and go over to the dark side.
“Hi, I’m Ben Shapiro, and yes, I was a conservative talker until Trump betrayed me and I became aware and adopted the progressive agenda..”
News to Ben...Trump was famous long before the TV show.
Yep - it's pathetically entertaining to see some of these folks try to act as if they're being objective as they struggle with the schizoid voices in their heads...
