CLOUT???
This idiot would be lucky if he keeps his Senate seat, considering how willing he was to scuttle this election in the Democrat’s and GOPe’s favor!
I see a bright future of personal injury lawyer commercials in the greater Houston area in the near future.
You don’t live in Texas, do you son?
cruz will not make the cut at the next rodeo in texas
I disagree with the first two post.
Cruz will win reelection to the senate in a landslide in 2018.
Barring any huge mistakes, he has a long political career ahead of him.
Trump was not just being nice when he said that on Tuesday night, Trump was telling the truth.
He’s not the “star” of Texas he once was.
He will keep it. He is the most conservative senator and we like him.
Even if you dont like Trump, even if you are into the crazy NEVERTRUMP thing if you love America the idea and want it to be here for your kids and grand kids, PLEASE WATCH THIS INTERVIEW! The really important stuff starts around 2:27.
And please share it with any of the NEVERTRUMP people you know. Were in what could well be the LAST DITCH in the fight for this country!

On the contrary, I submit to you that Cruz provided Trump a political education, that without it Trump would never beat the Clinton machine or get through the GOPe. Cruz taught Trump the necessities of having a great ground game and negotiating the web of rules and delegate gathering.
There was no one else in the field who could have pushed Trump to up his game, Like Cruz or hate Cruz, Trump needed Cruz and so far it has paid off. Trump lives off adversity and no other candidate could do wha Cruz did. Whether inadvertently or not, Cruz led Trump through the mine field, showed him the GOPe shenanigans and prepared Trump for what is to come in Cleveland and beyond.
I just have a very difficult time seeing any Republican in the state challenging him, she said. Its up to Cruz if he wants to run another term, and I think hell have a fairly easy time should he choose re-election.

You are indeed clueless...about Texas politics, at any rate.
So far as the Texas electorate is concerned, Cruz has fulfilled every promise and can be confident of re-election.
