Finally, a name ! Has Lt. Gov. Patrick committed to running ? I’ve heard no such claim. He’d have to give up the most powerful job in the state of Texas to run for what will arguably be a very difficult race. Unless that seat is vacated by Cruz if he becomes Trump’s VP, which he should, Patrick isn’t going to run for that seat. I expect that he will move up to Governor in 2022, presuming Abbott doesn’t turn into a seat-hogging Emperor like La Raza Rick.
Ted is and always has been GOPe to the core. Actions my friend tell the story of Ted and Heidi. Do not listen to the words watch the deeds. Ted had me fooled too, until his TPA vote, then I took a close look at the career of Ted Cruz. He is Bush 3.
I image Dan Patrick is thinking things over. Cruz is rapidly become the most hated Republican in the country. He did not get a majority in the Texas primary. Trump is weakening Cruz to the point were Patrick might make a go of it. Cruz blew it getting into bed with the R wing of the uniparty by joining up with #NeverTrump.
Because Cruz is Bush III with the “conservative” image repaired by using research marketing to fool Tea Party this time.
Cabana Cruz is not “scooping up delegates.” Hes has been getting mostly the State’s GOP officers, large donors and Party loyalists who were already set in place to vote for Bush, Et al. Only the willfully blind cannot see this.
NeverTrump is not Pro-Cruz, never was.

GOP was never #neverCruz. Cruz has been groomed by the Bush’s as “the designated bad boy” since the GOPe saw the Tea Party threaten their power.
He still performed faithfully as he was told to when it mattered to the their globalist agenda.

Ah... "feelings". Yes... the modern replacement for integrity and conscience. I *was* talking about the logical inconsistency among many Trump fans (which was a different topic), especially since "feelings" and "popularity" are treacherous (think of how "popular" Obama has been in 2008 and 2012).

Yep... right on cue. Not my point, FRiend (especially since polls, plus a dollar and a half, will get you a small cup of coffee). Hitler polled quite well, if records are accurate...

When you’re running a serious campaign for President against an equally serious primary candidate, how would it behoove you not to be in the camp opposed to the other ? That’s as stupid an accusation as it would be against Trump if he had a “#NeverCruz group for him.
