Trojan Horse, Huh? Scott Walker Destroys The Dumb Idea That He Only Endorsed Cruz to Stop Trump
Red State ^ | April 6, 2016 | Caleb Howe

Donald Trump, who previously claimed that nobody would ever work with Ted Cruz, lately complains that too many people are working with Ted Cruz. He also says Cruz is being used by the establishment for the sole purpose of stopping the Trump Train (a fitting nickname for something hurtling to such spectacular wreckage.)

His supporters and surrogates love to float the names of those who will be swooped in at the convention to replace both himself and Cruz. One of those names is Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, about whom they’ve been particularly conspiratorial-minded the last few days, for obvious reasons. Here’s what Walker thinks about that.

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

The bottom line is I am a hundred percent behind Ted Cruz, I didn’t come out against anybody I came out with Ted. I put the whole power of my endorsement, my organization, all my supporters behind making a very clear case that Ted Cruz wasn’t a default choice for me he was the choice for me. I’m going to support him not only here in the primary, I’m going to support him all the way through the convention.

You can’t get much more definitive than that. Walker isn’t playing a game here, Trump fans. He’s endorsing the candidate he thinks is the best choice for President. So are a lot of other people. Sorry it wasn’t your charlatan.

Also I’m not sorry.

-——Why not just elect Soros, who runs Cruz?-——

Easily one of top ten dumbest things ever posted on FR....

So does Cruz, only thing is Cruz does so as a Globalist pushing his wife’s agenda for a North American Union while Trump does it for America First.

Trump and Soros are friends and have done business together, Soros invested in Trump; it’d be good for Soros to have his friend in the White House. I think Soros is mostly concerned about money - first and foremost.

And they share support for Planned Parenthood, share political views in the past, supported the same politicians.

Overall, makes more sense for Soros to want Trump than Cruz. Haven’t seen Soros asked the question though.

Or Walker was waiting until right before the Wisconsin primary to maximize the impact of the endorsement.

That's a possibility I didn't consider. Still, if Walker really thought Cruz was a great candidate, there might be some kind of pattern in his behavior before hand, some flirting with the endorsement, some talking up Ted. I'm not sure that there was.

Plus, one problem with this year's candidates is that just agreeing with somebody on the issues isn't always enough. Walker might agree with Cruz about most things but still not like the guy. A lot of people have been in that position this year.

Money. Walky needed the money.

Cruz promised him a MoneyPAC would deliver.

Walky being a budding RINO establishment suckup was acceptable to the dark side that Cruz has been captured in. So he got approval for the ‘loan’.

And of course, the MoneyPAC wants Trump pulverized.

Thank you for admitting its called BUSINESS. Now what the hell is wrong with doing BUSINESS? Its called real world.

His position on planned parenthood is to stop the abortions but let the women’s health care parts stay running. Thats called common sense, You do not throw the baby out with the Bath water. What we want to stop is the abortions. Not take away what little useful help poor women get from PP that is not abortions.

Cruz is not consistently Conservative, he is consistently Globalist. America First is conservative. More conservative then anything Cruz has done.

Trump is the Trojan Horse

Alinsky Rule - Accuse your opponent what you yourself are already doing so that your opponent gets the media hit and you get off scot-free.

Cruz is a breath of fresh air, for a lawyer. He scares the fat cat,s and the Java the Hut types that is for sure. When Levin chooses a candidate and it matches mine, it means something to me. For about 6 months now.

I feel like I’m getting slapped over the head like DiNozzo.

Jury is still out about Trump. He is acting just like we all expect him to. However imbalanced. He should freaking hire some people who can control him, and sensor him, or he is going to lose.

He is my choice for Treasury Secretary, like when FDR appointed Joe Kennedy to post. It takes a crook to catch a crook. Trump will still be useful to the Country. Maybe not Treasury though.

As for who can beat Hillary and the crime family.

My choice for President is still God. And always will be. Everything happens for a reason. And don’t forget, “Words mean things”..

You guys are really pinning your hopes on that so-called “sex scandal” aren’t you? What if it turns out to be a Roger Stone nothingburger? What’s Plan B for you?

This guy was all in favor of Cruz....until he changed his campaign strategy and buddied up with the establishment. To me, he is who he is, another insider with the same campaign conservative presentation.

Noted earlier, interesting how Sen Cruz is no longer talking about Illegal Immigration.

You can think and vote for whom ever you want. To me, I wouldn't waste the ten minutes to bother voting for this guy, or any of the other GOPe folks.

Walker waited until there were only three candidates in the race, so isn't it fully possible that he only went with Cruz to block Trump?

He had said that he purposely held off until the endorsement would have maximum effectiveness, which means he had to hold off until a week before the primary.

So, whether his real favorite was Rubio or Christie or Cruz, he would not have said anything until he did anyway, and it is pretty sad to endorse someone who was already eliminated.

He made it clear from the beginning that he has no use for Trump's rhetoric or approach. It did not help that Trump completely misrepresented what Walker accomplished, and continued in the same vein to Wisconsin voters who knew better. Trump could have made that race closer than it was.

His pledge of undying love for candidate Cruz—and certainly his confidence in a Cruz win—rings a bit hollow in light of his statement last week. More like he is simply trying (like Lindsey Graham) to insure that a contested convention happens.

“If the race for the GOP presidential nomination ends with a contested convention in July, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) believes the nominee will be someone who isn’t already in the race.”

“I think if it’s an open convention, it’s very likely it would be someone who’s not currently running,” Walker told The Capital Times of Wisconsin Thursday.

Walker might agree with Cruz about most things but still not like the guy. A lot of people have been in that position this year.

It probably made a relatively easy decision for Walker who doesn't agree much with Trump and doesn't seem to like him, either. That dislike undoubtedly grew after the Cruz endorsement and Trump went all vindictive on Walker. It is really hard to have much respect for someone who constantly acts like an eight-year-old, no matter how successful he might have been as a businessman.

Wow! Lots of negatives. Just like Trump spewing negatives about everyone that doesn’t support him (just more lies).

Trump can’t comprehend how to act. Even his wife and daughter are concerned.

Is this concerning the 2004 Chicago Trump tower?

This link says Soros loaned 160 million dollars. The biggest loaner was Deutsche Bank for 650 million dollars.

Thanks for your reply.

>>>”Not take away what little useful help poor women get from PP that is not abortions.”

I really think that is a lot of democrat’s position. PP’s business is abortion, always has been.

There are many many more alternatives with more and better care than PP. PP also contributes to politicians. This should be a big no-no for anyone that gets taxpayers dollars - especially abortion mills.

thanks again.

Actually the fact is PP sets up in poor black and Hispanic neighborhoods and gives out free or near free stuff like Birth control pills. Many women rely on that. There are not too many other medical related facilities near those areas. So to completely shut them down, not just stopping abortions, would result in more illegitimate minority babies, more poverty and more crime. Better deal to keep the good get rid of the bad.
