Ann Coulter has been one of Donald Trump's biggest fans, but the conservative commentator said in an interview excerpt published on Monday that she cannot defend Trump's retweet of an unflattering photo of Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-TX) wife, Heidi Cruz.
During an podcast interview with Milo Yiannopoulos, another Trump supporter, Coulter said she found Trump's action upset her.
"Im a little testy with our man right now," she said.
"You are? Daddys annoyed you?" Yiannopoulos asked in response, referring to Trump.
"Our candidate is mental. Do you realize our candidate is mental? Its like constantly having to bail out your sixteen-year-old son from prison," Coulter replied. "OK, lets move past last nights tweet."
"This is the worst thing hes done," she continued, adding that Trump's comments about Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) status as a war hero were also hard to defend.
"Everything else I could probably defend. I could, I think, off the top of my head. Most of it it was them overreacting," she said, referring to liberals. "But the McCain thing, that was OK it was a dumb joke, it didnt work. Oh, well. Didnt kill him. But that tweet last night "
Later in the interview, Coulter confirmed that she was referring to Trump's Heidi Cruz retweet when Yiannopoulos mentioned that Trump retweeted "a picture of Cruzs wife and a picture of Melania."
"Thats exactly the tweet Im talking about," Coulter said. "No, you cant defend it. This is when were bailing our sixteen-year-old out of jail."
I thought of this as well...
She lost her schizzle this past term, and she lost her shit when CPAC stopped bringing her in 2015. The things that made her attractive have stopped making her attractive. Now she's faghagging with Milo. Not much left on this downward slide.
That was an “over the board” attack????
I think it makes it look like he knows there is more coming. I do not get it. Cruz lies a lot. Why not lie here too?
