After canceling a Friday rally in Chicago due to potential violence, Donald Trump lost out on two major primary contests on Saturday, giving a much-needed boost to his competitors Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.
On Saturday, Rubio - who is currently in third place in the GOP race - was declared the winner of the Washington D.C. caucus, nabbing the district's 10 delegates all for himself. Meanwhile, Cruz won nine on Wyoming's 11 delegates, with Trump and Rubio each earning one delegate each. The state's 14 other delegates will be elected at the April 16 state convention.
While Trump is still clearly the frontrunner with 460 delegates, Cruz is quickly catching up with a total of 369 delegates. Rubio, meanwhile, follows with 163 while John Kasich has nabbed 63. The Republican candidates need 1,237 total delegates to win the nomination....

Must be why Cruz did so well in DC.
Oh noes. Donald loses DC. How can it be?
Hopeful nonsense from that politically astute magazine People
Actually it was 3. DC, Wyoming, and Marianas Islands. lol
What is that, like, 11 delegates?
LOL, when the SCOTUS uses a headline in making their decision on a constitutional matter, I will concede that you got me!!! For now, the law & the SCOTUS rulings of our era prove that Cruz is a naturalized citizen who entered the US on an immigrant visa because his mother was a US citizen when he was born in Canada.
In a bureaucratic snit, the town of Pavilion, Riverton, and a million acres of Wyoming were given by the EPA to the Wind River Tribe. (Still contested, because changing the borders of a State cannot be legally one without Congressional approval.).
Donald said he'd keep the EPA back in Iowa.
Cruz won.
So Mercedes Lara says that a riot in Chicago, make Trump lose Wyoming and DC and the Marianas.
We need to get her working on cold fusion.
Well, hell, they don't matter. Go to Wyoming and tell them that.
That's the problem with the whole stinking works. "Your vote doesn't count. You don't matter."
I thought that was the SH*T we are fighting against.
It makes sense that party officials would choose Cruz. He is the GOPe last hope guy now.

Totally agree and does that not make Cruz a closet insider?
Of course I’ll vote for him if he’s chosen.
Those who stay home or vote ‘write in’ are casting a vote for Hillary- just as those who did this helped put the muzzie in the WH.
We MUST unite and vote for whomever the Conservative candidate is- or Hillary or the commie will finish America off.
The Donald said he would keep the EPA, back when he was campaigning in Iowa. Trump won't be popular in a state that has no use for it.
#1 Cruz was not born in the United States, therefore
#2 he was not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States at birth, because
#3 at the time of his birth, the place of his parents permanent residence was located in Canada
1952 Statute at the time Cruz's parents brought their 4 yr old son to the United States,
1401... definitions:
(23) The term naturalization means the conferring of nationality of a state upon a person after birth, by any means whatsoever.
(27) The term nonquota immigrant means; (A) an immigrant who is the child or the spouse of a citizen of the United States
Ted Cruz was a “nonquota” immigrant and after remaining in the US for the specified period of years, his naturalized US citizenship was perfected. He did not have to go through the formal naturalization process because his mother was a US citizen. Rogers v. Bellei, 401 U.S. 815 (1971)
He entered tHe country as a US citizen. He was born a US citizen. He has shown his birth certificate and his mother’s birth certificate. He is and always has been a US citizen by all laws at the time of his birth.
The law begs to differ with you...

'We know our GOPee party people in Wyoming and DC will pull off wins over Trump. We'll combine it with all the trouble we've paid the dems to cause him in Chicago. Then we'll get the three stooges - Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich to come in on the side of the protesters and it will look like Trump is finished. We've just got to stop him in Florida and Ohio or we're finished.'
Trump needs to stick to his message. In his speeches, he can tell the thugs and losers to “go home to mommy”, but in interviews he needs to stick with his distaste for the violence initiated by the disruptive thugs and any other initiation of violence, and then get back on topic.
And the elephants sing -”Peanuts”
If there were choices, seems the correct choices were made in his.
PS - as a side, Feel as badly here as you must there. It was thought he was a much better man than what has recently been portrayed. Not a kick in the stomach, just stating that I feel your pain and attempting to be as understanding as possible in how to deal with it.
A friend.
GOPe insider and BLM apologist Ted Cruz wins rigged insider election in Wyoming.
Well this government chart begs to differ with you.
https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/PDF/NationalityChart1.pdf
Cruz’s mother was born in 1934. She moved to London in 1960. So she lived continuously in the US for 26 years. That was for 12 years after her 14th birthday.
The part where it says they were "major primary contests", for starters. Also, the part where it says that the wins provided a "much-needed boost" to Trump's competitors.
11 delegates from Wyoming? Washington DC? LOL!
Really, 2DV? You're indeed grasping at straws.
Meanwhile, I'd be very interested in hearing your opinion of Ted Cruz's comments in the aftermath of the organized criminal mob which attacked (and caused the cancellation of) the Trump rally on Friday night.
Did I miss that?
