Rubio's 'Internal Civil War' May End Run
Fox Business News ^ | March 9, 2016 | Charlie Gasparino

Marco Rubio's troubled 2016 presidential campaigned has devolved into an all-out civil war with some major donors saying he should drop out of the race immediately, and his paid staff urging him to stay the course, the FOX Business Network has learned.

The infighting has been percolating for days, people with direct knowledge of the matter say; The battle however began picking up steam after Tuesday night's poor showing by the candidate, who failed to win a single state or a single delegate in the Michigan, Mississippi, Idaho and Hawaii contests.

With that, some major donors Wednesday began to urge Rubio to drop out of the race before next Tuesday's all-important primaries in Florida and Ohio. Recent internal polls show the U.S. senator from Florida losing his home state by a wide margin to businessman and GOP front runner Donald Trump.

Likewise, recent polls show that Rubio is failing to attract enough votes to place even among the top three candidates in Ohio, where its governor, John Kasich, is looking to upset Trump....

“If Trump is the nominee, I will get behind him, but a lot of others won’t, and we will be faced with President Hillary snuffing out the last bit of freedom that Obama didn’t get to.”

In other words, by not voting, “others” will be voting for Hillary with a guarantee that she will finish off the nation.

In other words, the “others” are fools.

Re post 12. You are absolutely right.

I forgot about how Guccifer is involved in this saga. Put him and Pagliano together and you have ALL the IT pieces.

She is delusional. I don't think an indictment will knock her out of the race voluntarily. It is going to be a very interesting campaign season.

If AG Lynch’s recent testimony before Congress was truthful, The White House has no clue how massive Hillary’s criminality is. Once that’s out in public, Obama will be looking at a very ugly stain on his legacy if it’s mishandled.

If nothing else, Trump can be counted on to megaphone the details far and wide. Hillary will be guaranteed embarrassing questions no matter where she appears. If she says she can’t comment on legal matters, she’ll confirm she’s a target which she’s denied by saying the FBI investigation is a security review.

The FBI already leaked the fact they do not do security reviews. Hillary is dead meat probably sooner than later.

-- Team Cruz to immediately announce the Rubio is dropping out this weekend. --

Suboptimal timing. Better to spread that around starting Tuesday morning, if Rubio hasn't dropped out by then.

I'm surprised by the sudden drop in Rubio's standing. If he isn't popular enough, beinbg in or out doesn't change the outcomes of the primaries anyway, his votes have already migrated.

I'm a Cruz supporter, and will support Trump if he wins the nomination. While you are correct that Trump will lose the support of the Mitt Romneys, George Wills and David Brooks of this nation, he will also put into play an awful lot of people that Hillary Rodham CLinton and the Democrats take for granted.

I personally don't trust Trump, but I think he would have an exceptional chance of really clobbering a very weak Dem candidate.

Rubio's 'Internal Civil War' May End Run

It has always been apparent to me that Senor Amnesty, aka Little Marco, got to where he is because some establishment fat cat decided that he had the "charisma" and would follow orders. Never mind such mundane things as accomplishments, substance or even being able to manage your own personal finances.

I’ll miss him when he’s gone. He was entertaining. The GOP will find a place for him, after all, he’s Hispanic. Donald J Trump will shake his hand and be a good sport about Rubio’s past attacks.

So, a sitting governor winning his home state over Donald Trump in a Presidential primary would be an "upset"?
