OF COURSE IT IS. The US needs a President who will do just that. If the strength and will of our President is in question, the US will never come back. Besides that, folks will line up behind a strong leader (1) because of his strength and (2) because there will be consequences for not doing so.

There is a difference between strength and pettiness. And an urge to inflict "payback" on anyone who "crosses" him seems, to me, to be on the side of pettiness, not strength.
