Cruz had a heavy ground game in Iowa, too. It paid off. Exit poll data showed that the vast majority of Cruz voters had made up their minds days before they actually voted.

Of course, this deprives the media of selling him so much airtime, boohoo.

But then, this is a guy who understands it takes more than air time to win, you have to have boots on the ground.

Free Republic founder Jim Robinson thinks Cruz is eligible.

Is Jim Robinson stupid for believing so?

The answer is that even that kind of game is limited and money was poured into where it would do the most good, Iowa and SC. Sounds like smart strategy.

Trump doesn’t have any PACs, much less super PACs; so unlike Ted, Trump isn’t gonna owe a billion dollars worth of quid pro quo “favors” purchased by the plutocrats and oligarchs via campaign “donations”.

“Trump doesn’t have any PACs, much less super PACs;”

I assume you do not think being a self-funded billionaire is a requirement to run.

One Keep the Promise backer, Robert Mercer, is a hedge fund billionaire who keeps a very low profile and has drawn criticism for tax-dodging.

Just one? I thought all those (1%) billionaires 'didn't pay their fair share'. (/s)

Did he 'dodge' taxes by taking deductions or did he "evade" (legal term) taxes by breaking the law?

If the latter, I have full faith in the ability of the IRS to launch high profile investigations of any wrongdoing and to prosecute, especially since he is backing a conservative. I have heard they are particularly good at investigating conservatives, individually or in groups.

I am sure we would have heard about that or you would have told us.

Since the inclusion was likely intended as a 'bring down Ted by pointing the finger at those who support him' move, is the guy under indictment? Is there a formal investigation? Or is this just hesaid/shesaid?

Has anyone noticed how easy it is to vote more than once for the Drudge online GOP candidate poll?

I've noticed a lot of Teddy Bares making that claim. I guess it's not working out for you so well, huh? But, I would expect no less from a bunch of lying Teddy Bares!

BTW, you can click on it all you wish, but unless it is registering a different IP, it won't count another vote.

Thank you, we have already counted your vote.

TRUMP 52.69% (351,074 votes)

CRUZ 22.43% (149,422 votes)

So Ted Cruz lost the very conservative and evangelical vote to Trump in New Hampshire, and this same operation that didn't work in New Hampshire will move to South Carolina? What's the definition of insanity again?

Insanity is equating New Hampshire with South Carolina. Different demographics, different culture.

Jeff Roe enrolled three un-willing co-eds in college? Is that what you meant?
Anyway Ted Cruz is a consistent Conservative and I expect that he will deliver the same consistent results that Conservatives have been delivering for the past couple of decades.

Cruz’s father wasn’t a slumlord who gave his son $100 million dollars either.
