You apparently have not seen Ted Cruz’ resume.
You don't know what I've seen.
I'm a Texan, and am very familiar with Ted's sterling record as a litigator. He was our state's Solicitor General before running for the Senate, and his record well qualified him for the position he sought.
I voted for Ted in the primary, the run-off, and the general election in that battle, so I've given the man my support when I felt it was warranted.
If I'd known he was going to treat his seat in the Senate as a mere stepping stone to the presidency, I might not have been as staunch a supporter as I was, then. I didn't like it when Obama did it, and I don't appreciate Ted Cruz turning his back on the people of this state, either.
I would understand if he had decided to seek higher office after serving a couple of terms as our Senator, but within three years of arriving in DC? Hell no.
