DORCHESTER, S.C. - Responding to a report that said he did not disclose a loan from his wife's employer during his 2012 U.S. Senate campaign, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz called the issue a "technical and inadvertent filing error" that he will fix if necessary.

Ok, but only if you send a minimum donation of $100.
Cruz could play fake insurgent as so many despicable GOPe fakes had
Who does not need this inside money, who can tell the influence peddlers to go (you know where)
WHo? Who? WHO?
(Fill in the Blank)
they didn’t finance it the first time and aren’t financing it now. It was a loan from their OWN PRIVATE ACCOUNT.. If they didn’t pay it back it would have been taken from their life savings.
the level of deceit on FR makes it difficult to even bother being here anymore.
Cruz is like hillary in the way that the more you know and hear, the less you like. His Goldman-Sux, CFR wifee connection has just gotten much worse. The natural born citizen problem is real, no matter how many say it isn’t. And where ted has a low general election ceiling with independents and democraps, Trump does not.
I admire the way Cruz outed the senate GOPe tricksters, and we owe him a debt of gratitude for that. But he doesn’t have the balls Trump has, possibly due to the debt owed his financiers.
Spot on. I’d add Cruz has a seeming blind spot on globalist issues for whatever reason. Liberterian, religious, etc. We are not going to have a constitutional government if we follow his globalist path because it ends in totalitarian socialism.
Because brokerage margin loans are available to anyone with sufficient stocks and bonds as collateral?
That's a lonnnnnnnnng stretch. Sounds suspiciously like a "conspiracy theory".
So, may I ask, what was the "financiers" purpose in letting Cruz sell them out along with the Senate leadership? What did they have to gain from it? Why would they give Cruz money to do it?
About two weeks ago it was all love and kisses, people here saying they can settle for either Trump or Cruz.
Now it is nasty, as it usually turns out here.
Personally I am not invested in either. I observe, and chuckle a bit inside.
Rules say MUST be filed with the FEC
Must isnt May
CRUZFAIL
the Twitterverse is crucifying him even now.
Both Goldman Sachs and the CFG are funding Cruz and his supper PACs. Look it up. I’d spoon feed it to you, but you can do your own leg work.
Aw, come on, Ted. You're sounding like a garden variety dirty politician there.
Damn...
It was disclosed multiple times. The NYTimes (who you seem to be aligned with) broke the story by looking at Cruz’s own public disclosures. The non-idiots on twitter seem to realize this isn’t anything.

No effing way. Are you for real??
No surprise his opponents are going after him. Same kind of thing happens to Trump every time something negative about him comes up. The question is whether Iowa caucus goers see this as the non-issue it is, or take him out altogether. If Cruz has something negative about Trump that will sink him, it's time to use it - Hillary will surely use it in the general.
Do we know whether it was US dollar not Canadian dollar?
You may believe that it has no merit, but there's no denying that it's a serious issue that Ted has got to put to rest.
Pooh-poohing it won't make it go away. It's one of those 'genie out of the bottle' things. Ted had better tame it before it tames him.
It's a standard brokerage account margin loan. Of course, most of the country doesn't have brokerage accounts, let alone know what a margin account is. Given how close the Iowa polls are, and how vital it is that he win, to be able keep going, I suspect he's done for 2016. If he survives this, they'll be calling him the Comeback Kid, 2nd Edition.
I am sure it must me a laugh riot at the 2% campaign.
I'm not questioning the legitimacy of the loan, just Ted's public response, which sounds like any other weasel politician. It's disappointing.
