Donald Trump is just one of many big name donors funding Terry McAuliffe's campaign to win the Virginia governor's mansion this fall, according to newly released financial disclosure reports - and he isn't even among the most generous givers.
The New York real estate magnate cut McAuliffe a check for a whopping $25,000 in late March, but that's just a drop in the bucket compared to the largest single donation in McAuliffe's report - a $251,000 gift from billionaire media tycoon Haim Saban in January. That check narrowly bested a $250,000 contribution the following month from Steve Bing, another big fish in the entertainment industry.

Sure is! Do you have any clue how much money it takes to win a campaign in America today? Governor's campaigns around the country were raising between 60 to 170 million dollars per campaign.

I don’t think Trump ever really “converted.” It seems ridiculous to me that the same people who ridiculed Romneys assertion that he changed his opinion on abortion now take at face value Trumps assertion that he did the same. Except in Trumps case it is not just his opinions on abortion but really every opinion he once had.

Luckily, Trump isn't running as the pure bred conservative. But Cruz is, and he's not.
In fact, Trump gave nearly the same amount to both Dems and Republicans up to 2009, and, thereafter, gave hundreds of thousands exclusively to Republicans.

When you’re in business you have to give money to both sides unless you want trouble. Trump has covered this.

The US has become a government with a country, rather than a country with a government because politicians are bought by smart businessmen. I wonder, what did Trump get from the pols he bought? What legislation, appointments, or regulations can we thank him for?

People in big money business give to everyone to grease the skids. That’s the way it works.
I have three bosses. One of which is a butthead that I don’t like and is probably a liberal. He got a Christmas gift from me just like the others because it’s good business.
