I found an interesting category in the CBS Iowa poll. 63% said Ted Cruz was electable and 41% said Trump was electable. The other polls that I have seen show Cruz doing better than Trump against Hillary.

What good is having a carefully crafted opposition party if their not going to oppose anything!

By the way, Trump’s coattails will ensure a Republican landslide nationwide, so screw traitor McConnell.

What good does s achieved by having a Republican majority in both or either house when the GOPe leadership is indistinguishable from the democrat leadership?

>> a vote for Mitch McConnell was a vote for a Republican Senate majority

And that is why Trump is so darned popular. We stopped falling for the “give us a majority and we’ll fix things” line of BS.

"I worry about the top of the ticket affecting every race," Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said. McCain is up for re-election in 2016 in Arizona – a state where nearly 11 percent of the voters are Latino– a group Trump has openly disparaged with comments about how immigrants are rapists or generally bad people.

Juan should know about the dangers of a presidential ticket affecting the Senate outcomes. When he lost in 2008, he helped give Obama a 60 vote majority and the ability to pass Obamacare without a single Republican vote.

This stupid article is written as if the entire more conservative portion of the US voting public should be concerned about Mitch McConnell and his personal power base, when in reality he and Boner have largely ignored the priorities of those who voted them into office in favor of their big donors.

In his 2014 re-election, Mitch McConnell wasn't running on his personality....

I was not aware that he HAD a personality, ever. See, you do learn something new every day.

I think what they fear more is that a Trump-enthused public will sweep some of the McConnell voting moderates out of the senate in primaries.

Not a single good thing has come from handing the GOPe the Senate. McTurtle is worse than useless. He stabbed those who voted for him in the back.
