Democrats Get Trump Better Than Republicans Do

In Saturday's debate, the candidates made clear they don't share the GOP establishment's wishful thinking that the Donald will fade away.

It’s intellectually shallow to pretend Donald Trump is vastly more reactionary than other candidates in the Republican primary. Trump lurks at the right-most edge of the field on the general question of how aggressively we should close American society, but only by an increment. Where most GOP candidates want to prohibit Muslim refugee settlement in the U.S., Trump wants to prohibit Muslim immigration more broadly. Where other candidates want to step up deportation of unauthorized immigrants quite a lot, Trump wants to step it up even more. Where Ted Cruz wants to carpet-bomb Iraq and Syria and “make the sand glow” there, Trump wants to target the families of jihadi fighters with violence. On other issues, like war-making and tax policy, Trump isn’t even the most right-wing candidate in the field...

It's like it pains Cruz to be direct and succinct on the matter. It has to be pulled out of him, those words he is uncomfortable speaking.

A.) Trump, quite reasonably, proposed a temporary moratorium on Muslim immigration until we can ensure that ISIS isn't immigrating over here along with everyone else. We should all recall that all of the 9-11 hijackers were Muslim immigrants that came here legally. there's nothing racist or unreasonable in what Trump is proposing. It is far more unreasonable to disregard what he is proposing in fact. It's just more PC nonsense.

B.) Trump says he wants to go after families and everyone throws a fit. Well, Obama has already bombed countless innocent family members and he got a Nobel peace Prize for it. He bombed a wedding ceremony, a Hospital, and has killed hundreds of children. And then there are double taps-where the family members, friends or neighbors who try to rescue someone hit by a drone missile are themselves targeted for assassination. To put it simply, our Nobel peace prize winning constitutional scholar of a President has committed countless war crimes since stepping into office and has most definitely killed the family members of terrorists.

Democrats have opened our borders to all manner of horrific Third World violence, crime, and disease. The GOP has supported and endorsed this vile activity every single step of the way. Trump has tapped into the fury of the American people over the unrelenting anti-American NWO push of our paid employees in government. Trump could win this on this one issue alone. Americans are tired of being betrayed by their government on both sides of the aisle.

Right. He wants to stop Muslim entry temporarily, until they can figure out what’s going on. I believe the temporarily part, because I don’t think Trump has anything against muslims per se. But, I can hear the howls from here already if and when he lifts that prohibition.
