More than a month ago, Paul Singer, a billionaire hedge fund manager and one of the biggest donors to Republican candidates and causes in 2014, publicly endorsed Marco Rubio and urged others in the party to get back the Florida senator as well.
The endorsement, which the New York Times put on its front page, was interpreted as a sign that the Republican Party establishment was getting behind Rubio as the man to stop Donald Trump.
But so far, many key Republican Party officials are not heeding Singer's message. A bloc of top Republicans in New Hampshire, including former congressman and State Senate Majority Leader Jeb Bradley, opted this week to endorse New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. The vast majority of U.S. House members, senators and Republican governors so far have chosen not to endorse anyone. Many key operatives in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina have also remained on the sidelines, as have major figures in the Republican Party like former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney....

He has gradually rose in polls
Bush has a run very expensive, traditional campaign and also went nowhere
If Republicans are wary of Trump's lack of experience and outlandish comments, Cruz has served in elective office but is a more pure conservative than Rubio. non sequitur
The writer is surely a public school grad. There are too many of these things to be proofreader misses. The proofreader must also be a public school grad. Somehow they missed the remedial courses in college or just got passed on through with a shrug.
What would be the pơint of Republicans electing Rubio to the Presidency? Amnesty would turn the government permanently over to the Democrats. The Republicans are useful to the Democrats so long as they can get elected and serve as a necessary opposition party. Once they have a permanently secure voting majority from Amnesty that will eventually relegate the Republican Party to a rump orgnization in some local jurisdictions that can only elect a dozen or so Congressmen and a Senator or two they will have outlived their usefulness to the Democrats. Once Rubio gets his Amnesty done elections will be meaningless thereafter and the dictatorship that is actually in place now will be quite irreversible and the EPA will be the enforcement arm of the Great Leader.
Ain’t are colliges terning out a fine group a writers?
Who is this person sleeping with? (It is indeed permissible to end a sentence with a preposition.)
“Establishment”?
Karl Rove will be all over him like a cheap suit in a heartbeat if Trump , Cruz or Carson are winning in the primaries.
Rubio is a progressive weasel.
“Gang of ocho” mean anything to you? He’s a weasel in sheep’s clothing. Not even as good as a RINO.
Damn.
If Trump slips, which is looking more likely now, it will be because of Trump’s big mouth not by another candidate.
Precisely. The problem for Rubio is that Bush, Kasich, Christie, Santorum, Huckabee and the rest are also waiting for Trump to fall. At that time they figure they can start the REAL campaign, so why should they get out now?
zactly.
Liberal arts courses in colleges and universities dont teach anything anymore, except for diversity and the evils of so-called white privilege.
No history
No grammar
No logic
No punctuation (my own lack of apostrophe is intentional, by the way)
Anybody who gets in league with Chuck Schumer would never get my vote.
Rubio’s actions proved to me he’s not ready for prime time. He’s too gullible .. especially where the DemocRATS are concerned.
Rubio needs to go home and grow up and toughen up.
He’s not gullible....the voters were. Amnesty has always been part of Rubio’s agenda. Look at his record in FL before becoming a Senator.
I know Rubio always supported amnesty .. but to get in league with Schumer .. you have to be “gullible”.
It means that Rubio’s judgment is flawed .. and with all that’s going on around the world today .. that is dangerous.
Also, I wouldn’t want somebody like that as my VP .. knowing he might go behind my back and plot against me.
I do not believe he was gullible. I believe that he knew what he was doing.
He believed what they told him .. because it suited his purpose. That’s gullible.
Rubio did not judge their CHARACTER .. NOR DID HE REALIZE THEY WERE USING HIM .. That’s gullible.
You can believe what you want .. but I’d never, ever vote for him.
Trump’s big mouth is what got him ahead in all national polls and his lead keeps extending. You are California dreaming. LOL!
You are entitled to your opinion. I did vote for him, unfortunately.
Painful to read, smh.
I quit using apostrophes and quote marks on FR. They come through as multi character gibberish and make stuff hard to read.
