WASHINGTON/NEW YORK, Dec 9 (Reuters) - For the Republican Party, a tough job just got a little tougher thanks to Donald Trump.
For years, Republicans, backed by some influential donors, have carefully cultivated the vote of Jewish-Americans who regard the security of Israel their top concern. Less than a week ago, a bevy of presidential candidates stood before a group of Jewish conservatives in Washington, asking for their support and declaring their solidarity with the Jewish state.
But Trump's proposal to bar the entry of all foreign Muslims into the United States has upended some of those efforts, prominent Republicans said. His planned visit to Israel at the end of December is being viewed with increasing concern.
"It's unquestionably unhelpful. His comments are disgusting," Norm Coleman, a former senator from Minnesota and a board member of the Republican Jewish Coalition, told Reuters....

(Instead of "common sense" gun control)
I don’t want these murdering raghead refujihadis in my country. PERIOD.
Oh no, so we’re going to lose the 20 percent of the 2 percent of Jewish voters in America. What a loss. Obviously we never had their donor money to begin with and don’t really need it, so there’s no loss on that front.

This makes no sense. I heard Trump’s speech, and the only negative response he got was when he refused to say that Jerusalem should be the capital of Israel. Other than that, the Jew’s reception of him was pretty warm and friendly. He got them laughing and in agreement with him a couple times.
Seriously? These idiot Jews think that admitting Muslims will keep them safer? Historically I have never seen a group of people less concerned with their own survival.
A new poll out shows that like 65% of likely GOP voters support Trump’s proposal. Yet reading this story you’d think there was no one who supported the idea. The media is pure scum.
Is the writer kidding? Or is it a voter concern because the liberal self-hating leftists are the Jewish majority? This sounds like more MSM BS.

Right, because Jews know how much Muslims love and respect Israel and Jews throughout the world, and would never harm a hair on the head of single Jew.
Next thing we know, the GOPe and their operatives will be telling us Trump’s hurting “the party” because the sun sets in the day and rises at night.
The secular Jews always seem to forget their history.
Huh? Did I miss something or are Muslims suddenly very nice to Jews?
Keeping radical Jew-killing Muslims out is unpopular with Jews????
It is BS the more I’m looking at the real world here. I just saw a poll and on MSNBC no less were 96% of blacks support Trumps Muslim ban. Well wait a minute here, we were told about 20 billion times by the MSM that Trump is a racist yet blacks support him?
And the Orthodox & Hasidic Jews will STILL vote for Trump !
I have never seen a group of people less concerned with their own survival.

At a party this year I got into it with an observant Jew about Islam. I said Islam is the problem and he replied no, that is being bigoted. He then said: Jews are a resilient people and “we’re strong enough to absorb a few hits.” There is no reasoning with some people.
Don’t like Trump but this crap is LOL Looney tunes stuff.
There is a sensible analysis of the entire Trump proposal here, not just the cherry-picked provocative parts.
Probably the same 65% who actually bothered to read the entire proposal, not just the cherry-picked controversial parts.
