WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump's support among Republicans has dropped 12 points in less than a week, marking the real estate mogul's biggest decline since he vaulted to the top of the field in July, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Trump was the favorite of 31 percent of Republicans in a rolling poll in the five days ended on Nov. 27. That was down from a peak of 43 percent registered on Nov. 22.

The five-day rolling average sample size ranged from 464 to 347 respondents between Nov. 22 and Nov. 27, with a credibility interval of 5.2 to 6.1 percentage points.

Oh, they’re saying this is because he said he wants all Muslims registered in a database and he mocked a disabled guy.

So they make up stories about him, report their lies as truth, and then jump up and down that his poll numbers have gone down because of what he actually didn’t say.

From the poll;
Trump 31%
Carson 15%
Cruz 7%
Rubio 7%

Can anyone tell me how Ben "Dr. NyQuil" Carson is still at 15%?

Yeah.
Curious who picked up the ‘lost’ support. Couldn’t tell from the article.

So basically he has twice the support of the next candidate instead of three times the support.

Trump will survive this idiocy about the gimpy reporter.

So he is DOUBLE his nearest poll rival, who is self-destructing and now headed to Jordan to desperately shore up Evangelical votes in meaningless Iowa — and this is supposed to be “devastating” news for Trump?

The reuters 5 day rolling poll is historically very bouncy. Most likely Trump was never at 43% 5 days ago. That was probably an outlier sample and I’ve never seen a national poll that high before. Anyway you look at it. He’s still leading Carson by 16 points.
