I have no doubt that statement is true
In fact if Trump or Cruz are elected the GOP would vote with the Democrats to block any platform of either.

The GOP Leaders HATE Cruz. We’ve known that for awhile.

I agree with Rush. She’ll keep the crony capitalism and int’l corruption afloat.

More likely they would whatever necessary to elect piaps first THEN sabotage any program a Trump or Cruz presidency had to offer.
That’s just what they do.

What’s the thinking here? Is it that the GOPe can appear to oppose Hillary without accomplishing anything, while they’d have no excuse for continuing to expand fed guv with Cruz, and that isn’t what their backers want?

California republicans have done the same thing. They undermine their party just so the democrats can be in power.

Remember in Braveheart, those scenes in which the men would bravely line up for battle with the Brits, only to find out their Highland Noble had SOLD THEM OUT to the hated enemy..?
That’s exactly how I feel.

Cruz will want to stop the gravy train, which to the GOPe is like putting the crucifix in front of Dracula.

RUSH: “Folks, go ahead, admit it. You are addicted to this program. It’s EIB, an airborne phenomenon spread by word-of-mouth, casual contact. And there’s no need for a cure. There’s no need for a vaccine, because it is the cure, and it is the vaccine. When you get EIB, you are healthy.”

I believe Rush is right and that makes those GOPe “leaders” enemies to me in a very literal and visceral sense of the word.

Cruz will want to stop the gravy train, which to the GOPe is like putting the crucifix in front of Dracula. And there it is. Hillary and the Establishment can do business. Cruz is intent on stopping business as usual.

--realized that right after the Nevada legislature convened--we that vote had just given the Rupub governor the first "R" total control in thirty some years--next thing you knew ., several of the LV Repubs announced they'd caucus with the Dems if they didn't get their way--
--instant startup of recall petitions brought them back in line, at least temporarily---

I would say Cruz and Trump.
To: dp0622
Cruz in my mind THE BEST MAN OF ALL THE CANDIDATES, BUT BUT BUT he has alienated everyone who will help him win.
Best for him to be part of a Trump admin and run next time.
Now is not the time for him or Rubio, or Paul or the others.
Trump is the man. The quicker we coalesce around him the better.

I have no problem with Trump winning, but just by Cruz and Trump saying what they mean, they BOTH have alienated all of those worthless republicans in power.
