I’M CONVINCED I HAVE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE TO STOP WATCHING THEM.
I can only think of two governors in the 20th century who were able to translate their gubernatorial experience into effective administrating: TR and Reagan. Not Carter, not Clinton, not Bush 43; in all three case, their being governors did not seem to help them as Presidents.
FWIW, I can't think of a governor today who I would want as President, except maybe Jindal.
