CLEVELAND He wasnt among the seven GOP presidential candidates selected by the Fox News Channel to take part in todays pre-debate, but Donald Trump was criticized by two of the candidates.
Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Trump is using his celebrity rather than his conservatism.
Trump has mocked Perry by saying he wears glasses to appear smarter. When asked about Trump, former CEO Carly Fiorina responding by asking her six rivals on stage if any of them had received a call from Bill Clinton before they jumped into the election. She said that was probably because they hadnt made a donation....

Will there be any questions that aren’t gotcha’s. Shame on Fox moderators.
no, just FK Chris Wallace. Every question is an attempt to get these guys bitching at each other.....not a damned word about Obama?
...not a damned question about Obama...
You are right..I am so PO’ed I didn’t even notice.
Obama? Who the hell ever that is......
Trump has become a lightning rod. Whether truly a conservative or not, he's talking about subject matters that us true conservatives are talking about, but what our politicians tip toe around.
I'm tired of the tip toeing and the pussy footing.
Trump is stomping on their feet and forcing them to make their stand.
I guess they were too afraid to throw punches at Kenyan Boy and Hillary Benghazi Clinton. Being called a “rasis” by a bunch of liberal ‘RAT racists scares the hell out of them.
Obama finally mentioned 32 minutes in. WTF?
3 mentions.....2 by Cruz, 1 by Rand. No one else. Mr. Trump?
Why questions about Obama? He will be gone. We need to know what they will do about the future.

Wow, what a maroon.....
By the way, Reagan didn't spend all his time doing that. He moved forward. So I disagree with your idea that Republicans should be Democrat juniors.
the problems we have now, are Obama problems. That’s what I need. Now I know this is very difficult for you to process intellectully, but the Dems were LYING about Bush most of the time....we’re not lying about Obama.
And BTW, they ran against Bush and WON. I just destroyed you twice dude.
Shame on them indeed.
Will these same kind of gotcha questions be asked of Hillary or whoever is the lib candidate in their debate, if they have one?
Obama ran against Bush, look where it got him.
I listened to the pre-debate on radio tonight. Based on that, I had these reactions:
Carly Fiorina did very, very well. If she’s running for the VP slot, as I believe she is, she increased the value of her stock tonight.
Bobby Jindal also did well, I thought. Jindal seems to be trying to shake things up, and his rhetoric tonight was in line with that. I don’t think he’ll make great gains in the race for the nomination, but he did sell himself pretty well.
Rick Perry I think basically got to the line of scrimmage. He had some good statements, but I don’t think it will be enough to overcome the damage still lingering from his 2012 oops moment. Not when we have so many strong choices to choose from.
Pataki...Mark Levin was right, Pataki held his own. He’s so far back it won’t make much difference, but I’ve got give Pataki some credit for his performance.
Lindsay Graham sounded like a nervous 10th grader delivering his first persuasive in high school speech class. I don’t know what his facial expressions or body language were like, but he sounded terrible.
Santorum and Gilmore did pretty well.
Perry was already a definite “no” - Carly just joined him.
