Isn’t it a little early to start the thread? It might be hard to find 2 days from now.

It looks to me like Fox is not going to release the list of polls that they used to make their Top 10 selection.

And ... looking at the most recent polls on Real Clear Politics it is difficult for me to see how Cruz could end up with a 5-poll average of 5.4. He is nearly a point higher on RCP.

Could Fox News be conspiring to keep Cruz down? Personally I would not put it past the All Jeb Network to do so.

Correct me if I’m wrong about the release of the actual list of polls.

Will the debate be carried on radio? I do not have access to cable or Foxnews but would like to listen in.

I just listened to O’Reilly discuss Trump and the debate with Rove. O’Reilly claimed that the reason Trump is ascendant is because of the sharp comments he has made. Rove said no, it is because of the issues he brings up, such as immigration. He reminded O’Reilly that all the candidates had made sharp comments and some were not doing very well (if that was the key). Surprisingly, Rove gave a good analysis of what Trump and the others had to do. I was surprised.

After Thursday, the next Republican debates are scheduled for September 16th and October 28th.

As for the Democrats, they have not scheduled any debates as of yet.

Won’t Democrats across the country feel a little left out of the 2016 presidential race if they only see Republicans debating? And won’t many of those Democrats start finding appealing candidates among the Republicans and start drifting away from the Democratic party?

Maybe one of the news anchors should ask Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the head of the DNC, why her party can’t get itself together to hold debates like the Republicans are capable of doing.
