The $38 million super PAC supporting Ted Cruz plans to highlight polarizing issues as part of a full-throttle plan to turn out the white evangelical voters that can power him to victory, a new document reveals.
Keep the Promise, whose strategy is detailed in a 51-slide PowerPoint presentation titled "Can He Win?" recently posted to the organization's website, mercilessly attacks 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney as unable to elevate "wedge issues," or divisive social issues that polarize voters, to the forefront of the Republican debate. Calling Romney a "terrible candidate with a terrible campaign," the slides pillory him as a Republican who managed to squander winnable states just like every other "loser" moderate candidate.
By deploying these issues and emphasizing his Hispanic heritage and religious roots, Cruz can win the presidency, the super PAC says....

POTUS CRUZ = ANSWERED PRAYERS.
Plan to win? Well, you don’t see THAT everyday
As more and more social conservatives are cut from the herd, their supporters will move to Cruz.
The last two nominees sure didn’t seem to, did they?
I pray to God somebody like Cruz is the next POTUS.
If not, I’m afraid we’re finished as a country based on strong Christian-Judeo principles.
Lord, quickly come.
John McPain was afraid to use his opponents middle name; Mittens Romney shrunk in fear at Candy Crowley, and Paul Ryan yielded for the most part to Biden.
The problem is that the number of social conservatives is small and shrinking. The American people like the socialist way.
I don't see Cruz winning the nomination. Therefore, my write-in vote goes to Governor Palin.
If your answered prayer is a dude siding with the pResident to get the TPP passed, you are asking the good Lord for the wrong stuff, bro.
Every year 2.48m folks (mostly white, majority Republican voting) die and are replaced by 2.52m folks (majority non-white, heavily Democrat voting).
That’s a long term problem for sure.
They like it so long as it lasts. But it can’t last.
Huckabee has been pretty invisible so far. Does he have any dough? That’s what it’s going to take to compete with Jeb.
The Cruzer has enough smarts to realize this may well be a financial marathon with him, Trump, and Jeb fighting a long long battle.
He’s a paleo.
Exactly
Ted matches his rhetoric with action.
Huckster is tanking in campaign funds.
His magic Diabetes tonic isn’t selling well.
Amen!
They have Cruz beating Clinton 296 to 242 in the electoral college. Cutting it kinda close there. In addition to the typical battleground states such as Florida, Ohio and Virginia I hope the nominee will take the battle to other states in the important industrial belt such as Pennsylvania and Michigan. There are a few Democrats in tbat region who are not all enamoured with Hillary. A conservative with an America-first economic message can mop the floor with Hillary. Let’s hope we do.
Let me TELL you son. YOU ARE the problem and YOU are sorely misinformed.
It is hard to get the BIG picture when you are viewing from the rear -end.
