Walker may be able to gain the admiration of the world if he gets elected while Obama has deservedly gained a degree of notoriety, and rightly so.

You’ve been repeatedly refuted as to that “Walker supports amnesty” line, yet you persist.

A quick channel surf and I stumble upon him w/ Vannity last night. Walker mentioned closing down DO-Ed, and sending Medicaid-Medicare back to the states along with Road Funding, and that might be for starters.

He is the only one even discussing disassembling the Fedzilla Leviathan and sending the functions back to the states aka the 10th amendment. Whether he succeeds or fails His Voice needs to be on the stage discussing this.

Walker can match his governance record against anyone.

His administration transformed his predecessor’s $3.6 billion deficit into a $911 million surplus. Walker did this without hiking taxes, as Doyle did. Instead, Walker cut levies by $2.2 billion. This helped stimulate Wisconsin’s economy, lower the unemployment rate on his watch from 7.7 percent to 4.6% percent, and increase per capita income from $38,755 to $43,149. 95% of employers believe the state is on the right track.

He’s done smackdowns if democrats against the odds.. three times in four years.

And you Trumpettes out there ready to pounce on a perceived flip-flop by Walker on amnesty had better do some research on the background of your guy. Trump has made the political Zelig act into an art form.

Grover’s okay on the tax/regulation/liberty side....which is where/how he got his start. Walker and the foundational principles of ATR are sympatico.

All this Muzzie stuff that’s so scary - that came along later - and I’ll quickly admit it’s unsettling....

He’s too pro-war. I think people are still sick of war in the middle east so unless there’s another 911 or something even Republicans will shy away from his rhetoric.

“...he just left me uninspired...”

“Like he’s failing to transmit the right signal on the proper frequency for my conservative patriot sensors to pick up.”

Same here. Know good things about him, don’t know enough bad to really criticize him, I don’t know if it’s a lack of presence or gravitas or what. It’s not the right word, withdrawn, but it’s like he’s a little psychologically withdrawn, maybe his way of dealing with the slings and arrows of office. Not sure.

I can’t get a mental grip on it. I’ll listen to what he says.

I’m sick of not winning in the Middle East and we can’t win with this Lefthander-In-Chief.

Texas is important in a two-way race, but maybe not so important in a three-way race. Especially if Trump appeals to what’s left of Reagan Democrats.

Sure, they're lavishing love on Walker now. But flash-forward to 2018, and if elected, he'll be just as big an illegal-alien-loving, Moslem-genuflecting, gun-grabbing, pro-banker, Uniparty-suck-across-the-aisle, big-business-fascist, anti-Christian, pro-American-enemy, GOPe weenie as any of the rest of the Republican party with very, very few exceptions.

Am seriously considering not even voting for the first time in my adult life. The America I knew is gone, and voting cannot bring it back.

I moved to Wi for a job in the middle of the Act 10 ****show. I was impressed that despite GOPe cries to compromise, Govr. Walker did not waver. This guy has cojones. He has had multiple death threats against him and his family. Ted Cruz or Govr. Walker. Otherwise I sit

That's precisely the reaction I have to Walker. It's a sort of 'stumped' feeling. Something you can't describe, but know it when you see it.

Given all of the great things Freepers say about him, I'd expect to warm right up to the guy, but the connection's not there. He just doesn't emanate the sort of flows I recognize, on any wavelength I'm tuned into. Does that make sense?

Then again, there are some real and quantifiable things about him that concern me, such as his attempt to do away with Wisconsin's 'Open Records Act' and his strong support of Mitt Romney in 2012.

In a nutshell, Walker just isn't reaching me.

Walker has been able to roll back leftist big government programs despite being attacked with the unions and organized left. He has won every time and made real differences despite continuous attack.

Yep, I'm aware of all that, which makes it all the more puzzling why my gut instincts and radar ping the wrong way on the guy.

It's probably an accumulation of lots of little cues and signs that rub me the wrong way, coupled with some real world actions on his part that give me pause.

For whatever reason, Walker just isn't reaching me. Never has.

Thanks for the straightf forward response.

I have hardly ever seen Walker speak. It’s possible I might have a similar reaction.

Lindsey Graham talks a great game But I am always going to not let my intellect take a second spot. I know Graham can tickle the ears and say the right things, but I know what he has done.

Here is a page with what I think are significant Bible verses on this question.

There are no “perfect” candidates. Even the most conservative candidate,
Ted Cruz has faults, such as:
Wanting to more than DOUBLE legal immigration. Which is not good at this time. He favors radically increasing the number of H-1B visas fivefold which will hurt American IT workers. He folded on Obamatrade and we still aren’t allowed to know what the TPP “deal” is.

But we have overabundance of better candidates running in 2016, than nominees of 2012 & 2008 & 2004.

I am just fine with either Trump, Walker, or Cruz from among the top 10 who will appear in first debate. Bush is last on my list. Others in top 10 are not great but still better than previous 3 cycles.

You are thinking strategically, which is better than going by emotions and desires.

That was before Trump declared the run. Since Cruz supports Trump’s anti-illegals agenda, Trump has spared Cruz from further attacks. The Canada birth is not serious, but it certainly is a point to consider.

So you must be for Rand Paul...the only anti-war candidate running in 2016.
