The right's in-your-face obnoxiousness and need to portray Democrats as weak is classic phony bravado. Paging Freud.
Chris Christie roared onto the presidential campaign stage calling out his onetime pal, President Obama, for being weak. He labeled the economy as weak, U.S. foreign policy as weak, and the presidents style of governance as a handwringing incompetence. Christies theme is not just his, though; it seems to dominate the Republican candidates critique of any Democratic leader whose approach to the larger world refrains from their over-the-top bluster. The real question, though, is what makes the Republicans think theirs is the party of strength? What lies behind their in-your-face, Clint Eastwood-style American bravado?
For one, the macho pose ironically owes some of its inspiration to the famed breeder and hockey mom Sarah Palin, who adopted as her motto going rogue, which was actually a euphemism for departing from the facts. Now another untamed candidate, Donald Trump, sees nothing wrong in maligning a sizable percentage of Mexican immigrants as roving rapists; instead of recognizing his irresponsible comments for what they are, a certain slice of the Republican electorate has insisted that he was merely saying what others are thinking but havent the guts to voice publicly.
Guts? Another word for the wing-nut rhetorical method is gall, which in linguistic terms takes us even closer to the internal bitterness that oozes from angry mouths in the form of hypocritical taunts. Hispanic immigrant Ted Cruz is so viscerally troubled by the Hispanic immigrant problem that he must sound the alarm louder than his colleagues, who have less to prove on that score. Piyush Bobby Jindal, exudes a gargantuan impatience with all foreigners who refuse to shed their foreign skin....

Impossible to take anything from Salon or HuffPo seriously
Yes, it is!
Cruz is a bully? He’s incredibly soft-spoken. He’s really toned down the high-pitch of his voice - something that has bothered me in the past.
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have never been known to have bullying and bluster.
So Hillary isn’t a bully? Ask Vince Foster.
The article has projection, fabrication, and nonsense.
That said, Homobola the Undocumented is not “weak”.
He is strong compared to the lying, backstabbing GOP.
What Homobola is is CORRUPT. If the GOP could be honest
they would be hailed, like Mr. Trump.
But they except for Gov. Palin and Sen. Sessions,
weak, phoney, and always ready to sell out the Constitution
to support ObamaCARE, ObamaTyranny, ObamaTRADE, and
the arming of al Qaeda.
“Cruz is a bully?”
And with another article we can see Perot’s...errr..Trump’s value to the establishment/uni-party.
(we can dismiss Salon and Huffpo all we want here, low-info folks will not)
So what’s the King of the WH’s excuse?
Seriously. I see so much Salon here at FR, and never anywhere else. My blood pressure would drop tomorrow if people stopped sharing every damn piece of idiocy written over there.
And lived to talk about it.
And also the constant daily left wing articles from Business Insider. I wonder if the people posting this junk are DU trolls.
Get ready for President Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump saloon. Because frankly at this point what difference does it make ?
Trump unloading
Salon heads exploding
I’m sorry, what concessions have Trump and Cruz demanded?
Bullies demand Christians marry gays. Bullies demand removal of the Confederate flag and all southern heritage.
Salon editorial board is verklempt (emotionally inhibited in a convulsive way).
“(we can dismiss Salon and Huffpo all we want here, low-info folks will not)”
Astute observation.
It’s an ink war. Nothing more, nothing less.
From the article, “ Hispanic immigrant Ted Cruz is so viscerally troubled by the Hispanic immigrant problem that he must sound the alarm louder than his colleagues, who have less to prove on that score.”
Excuse me but, Hispanic immigrant, I didn’t realize that.
Translation: Whaaaaaaaaaa, mommy he won't fall down when I push him.
The biggest bunch of bullies is in the Dem party.
There was an article the other day that claimed he was the child of Cuban emigres, even though his mother is from Delaware and has never set foot in Cuba.
