I think a decent conservative Republican could siphon off a fair share of those union households, like President Reagan did.

Cross-over voting is the number one problem for conservatives in the primaries. If Hillary runs unopposed, dems will be encouraged to vote for a Jeb in the R primaries. If there is a real contest for the dems, they’ll have to keep their votes to themselves.

It’s with that in mind that I say: Go Bernie!

What does it say about today’s Democratic Party that Bernie Sanders is for them a viable candidate?

Perhaps an avowed socialist has become “viable” only by the realization among progressives that Hillary Clinton is rapidly becoming “non-viable”?

Would John Kennedy even have a chance to be nominated in today’s Democratic Party? I think not.

Is it not possible that Bernie is viable because he is perceived by progressives as occupying an ideological place to the RIGHT of Barack Obama? Is Bernie Sanders the left’s version of learning from the 2014 electoral debacle, and moving toward the center?

Bernie’s vision for America is Sweden, Norway, Denmark. Barack? How about Venezuela? Cuba?

Bernie wants to split up big corporations, Barack Obama shakes them down. So perhaps the progressives have a point.

What does it say about the party that people like Evan Bayh and Mark Warner aren’t pulling off their warm-ups to get in the game? Have they disqualified themselves by not fully embracing global warming and therefore anti-capitalism, as Bernie has? I think so. No money from greens, and no money from wanna-be fascist corporations.

This election is certainly instructive as to the state of today’s Democratic Party. And the media. It is smoking out all the formerly cloaked motivations and ideologies. The party is being revealed for what it’s been for some time now-rotten to the core.

What is happening is that individuals who have felt ignored are using their support for Bernie Sanders to get their voices heard
In 2008 the rats had both houses and an anti American socialist president. We are now 7 years down the line and there are still people who cant be heard?

I think a decent conservative Republican could siphon off a fair share of those union households,

Agree for Big Labor if Hillary wins Hillary the nominee... they will leave in droves

Sanders as the nominee ?...No way

Sanders is singing their song...

This should be very interesting...

I can see private unions going big for Sanders...

I can see pubic sector unions going big for Hillary...

If that happens you will never read a story about the "split in union votes"

What is surprising about this?

Socialism = Labor Unions.
Labor unions + Socialism

Any questions?

You beat me to the punch. My sentiments exactly. This is NOT the Labor movement of the '50's and '60's where the rank-and-file do what the Labor leaders tell them to do. In '80, Reagan got the vote of the UAW Union Membership even though the UAW Leadership opposed him vehemently. I know; I was one of those UAW Members; not by choice, however. I lived in MI at the time and it was not a "Right-to-Work" State.

What did we learn from this article?

“Larry Cohen, the past president of the Communications Workers of America, gave his backing to Sander...s”

Ahh, yes. Larry Cohen is a socialist.

As opposed to an indecent one like Walker? Scott has no chance with union households.

Go Bernie!

(At this very moment, the Clinton crime family is making arrangements for him to wake up with a horse's head next to him.)
