A media watchdog says if Jeb Bush was really as conservative as he tries to portray, liberal media outlets would be as harsh with him as they were when Ted Cruz entered the GOP presidential race.
As reported earlier by OneNewsNow, since officially announcing his candidacy former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has been trying to convince conservatives in the Republican Party that he's not his father or his brother as he seeks the GOP presidential nomination in 2016. He also has tried to set the record straight on his pro-life record.
Regardless, many conservatives still view Bush as a moderate and the choice of the establishment wing of the party.
Tim Graham, director of media analysis at the Media Research Center, says the way the mainstream media has been treating Bush should give conservative voters a clue.
"I think the coverage of Jeb Bush in the last few weeks suggests that they don't view him as a 'terrible conservative,'" says the MRC spokesman.
"If they thought he was conservative, they would be much harsher on him the way they sort of were with Ted Cruz a few months ago when he announced and they said he was conservative every five seconds. That's when you know somebody is actually conservative."(continued)

The moderators will rig the forum to favor Jebbie and shut out Cruz as much as possible. The Republican primary voters will never figure it out.
which is not conservative
I don’t think anyone will shine in those debates. At best, everyone will get a single bumper-sticker moment.
Is the ultimate oxymoron
The primary vote will be split 19 ways, and the convention will deadlock. GOPe will hand Jebby the prize in a formerly smoke-filled backroom. All according to plan.
MSM may favor Bush.
But Bush is NOT a conservative.
“Go get your shine box, JEB.” MSM
Because 1. He’s beatable and 2. In the unlikely event he wins, he may as well be a Democrat.
This premise is untrue. The MSM favors radical leftism. They are going easy on Jeb Bush because they want him as the GOP nominee. He will be easy to defeat.
