Having a female on the ticket is a plus. We have to elect people who could be leaders, but we also have to run people that can draw votes. That's just my opinion.

I am not disagreeing with you that having both genders on the ticket wouldn't be a plus. Then why not pair Cruz up with a successful woman candidate? Martinez of New Mexico or Fallin of Oklahoma? Women with a successful track record of winning elections, governing states, and implementing conservative policies. Fiorina has none of that and, as I said, brings nothing to the ticket.

Although... Fallin has some baggage. It didn’t keep her from being elected in Oklahoma, but on a presidential ticket it would be “highlighted”.
