If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.
Nothing wrong with cheering for your candidate. It’s not a foregone conclusion at this point that Cruz or any other nominee will win, but that’s not going to stop me from promoting Ted.
I am.
The dems will win if there is a repeat of 2012 when many sat the election out because they did not like the nominee.
Oh, I’ll be voting. And I’ll be voting for anyone who has a chance of winning.
Here on FR, it’s irritating to hear how many refuse to vote for someone ... sometimes for silly reasons.
I’m want us to win. I’m sick of all of the Democrats we’ve had. I don’t want to get hurt, so I’m not really engaged by this election.
But I WILL be voting. I always vote.
Did you forget that this is nothing more than a straw poll online? A candidate gets through the primary and the more than ignorant caucus scheme by garnering supporters which with the anointed frontrunners like Bush and all their money and media to buy support is going to be difficult.
Cruz is who I support right now, so what?
A rather odd statement; what is your point?
Right...
so a basic question (since you are obviously the Constitutional expert):
Who knows more about whether or not TPA is Constitutional...you, or a man who was a Constitutional attorney and who defended this Constitution as Solicitor General of Texas?
Don’t tell this to those people who think they understand the Constitution better than the Former Solicitor General of TX.
With all due respect, I don’t buy into this demographics garbage. While it might be true that cities are Liberal cesspools, if we had the right candidate, we should be able to win. Remember, Romney would have won last election if Conservative voters didn’t stay home.
We must run on principle to win and enforce our voting laws. We are in the majority, we need to act like it.
Go Cruz!
LOL....good Paulie, good Paulie.
Now, which corporations are those, exactly?
No, I didn’t forget about primaries and caucuses. I have more than enough information to see that Senator Cruz is head and shoulders above the other candidates announced or not and I intend to support him as long as he’s in the race. My “list” has two names 1. SENATOR CRUZ 2. Governor Walker.
Argument from authority, also authoritative argument and appeal to authority, is a common form of argument which leads to a logical fallacy when used in argumentative reasoning.
In informal reasoning, the appeal to authority is a form of argument attempting to establish a statistical syllogism. The appeal to authority relies on an argument of the form:
A is an authority on a particular topic
A says something about that topic
A is probably correct
Fallacious examples of using the appeal include any appeal to authority used in the context of logical reasoning, and appealing to the position of an authority or authorities to dismiss evidence, as authorities can come to the wrong judgments through error, bias, dishonesty, or falling prey to groupthink. Thus, the appeal to authority is not a generally reliable argument for establishing facts.
So instead of knocking Cruz on all the threads why not use that energy to promote your candidate “Trump”?
And Cruz supporters don’t knock Trump on Trump threads?
This isn’t a Trump or Cruz thread so your comment has no bearing.....this is ‘a poll’ thread on ‘Who would you vote for’.....which is a distinction.
I didn’t see you post who you’d vote for...only that you posted comments knocking Cruz.
You are exactly right.
Cruz is a damn joke who is just as much a narcissistic clown as Obama is.
You are one of the smarter ones who realizes we do not always get exactly what we want, but; X beats an Obama.
He is pointing out fact.
All I read was blah, blah, blah...someone trying to sound smarter than they are...
Funny, you have yet to prove any of your points.
Who do you support?
