If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.

The political operative Democrat Curtis Ellis fooled many of conservatives and had a fake conservative website Obama trade.com.
He had commemtraries from the likes of Sen. Jeff Sessions and many other conservatives in which no doubt many even here on FR have must have gotten their talking points and bogus information from.
Many have been officially PUNKED by Curtis Ellis.
Those who were supporting Ted Cruz and allowed some Democrat political operative fool them then dropped their support of Ted Cruz have no room or need in the foxholes when the real battle gets started and intense.
By the way ? Who may I ask is your choice of canidate at this time ?

Is Free Republic under Digital-Astroturfing Attack?
On Monday I saw this article below. It confirmed to me that many of us here (with urging from some rabble rousers) had been used to attack each other in this Conservative forum.
Leading Anti-’ObamaTrade’ Activist Is a Longtime Democrat Political Operative
By tailoring his disinformation to appeal to conservatives, the career Democrat operative is attempting to make the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) toxic to Republicans.
Lachlan Markay of the Washington Free Beacon looked into the group behind the anti- TPP website, ObamaTrade.com, and found it is funded by Curtis Ellis, the progressive three-time Dem candidate for Congress.
Curtis Ellis leads a group called the American Jobs Alliance that vehemently opposes the pending Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and “fast-track” authority that would expedite its congressional consideration. Ellis calls the latter “ObamaTrade.”
I’ve noticed that people with no rational arguments go into attack mode.

Ed describes these trade agreements in terms that would traditionally only apply to treaties, however, he skirts the issue by simply calling them trade agreements. One particular argument he uses for why we should have TPA is that other countries would be reluctant to enter into an agreement with the US if Congress could later change the terms of these agreements in the future by a simple vote of Congress.
what he is implying is that whatever you want to call these agreements, if they don't have the force and effect of a treaty, that other countries (which call these agreements "treaties") will not want to enter into them unless the US treats them like treaties.
They are treaties and unless they get 2/3 of the Senate to approve them, they should not be implemented.
Period.
So? Some leftist is using conservative talking points. Big deal. You’re using the talking points of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and K Street trans-nationalist lobbyists.
There’s a fortune to be made in selling out American sovereignty you know.
