No matter what problems Gov. Huckabee has, he doesn't deserve to be ridiculed on FR the same as he is on DU.

He has votes that he can deliver to a Republican candidate.

Alienating his supporters here for no good reason is why conservatives aren't making any progress in the Republican Party.

Spreading lies about anyone on FR is unnecessary and just an imitation of the liberal media.

Of course, maybe the above is why Gov. Huckabee is under attack on FR. Somebody is afraid of him.

I don’t think ANY REPUBLICAN candidate should be maligned on FR. Is’nt that what Ronald Reagan tried to preach? Most attack posts are one or two liners, with few specifics. This serves no useful purpose except help Hillary campaign with material for attack Ads.

Many posters are under the delusion that attacking other candidates will attract more people to their candidate. In reality it turns people off. Those posters are turning me off against their preferred candidate, which should not happen because he is really a great candidate.

Only specific I have seen re:Huckabee is his pardoning of some convicted felons. Personally I am against paroling/pardoning any convicts. However in fairness, almost every president and governor has pardoned someone.

As you pointed out, Huckabee governed in a fiscally responsible manner in Arkansas. That is the most important issue for any governor. Even Jeb Bush has a good record as governor in Florida.
