She’s bucking for VP. Somebody is going to pick her up and make a proxy deal during the nomination process. She’s looking for a bag of candy.
But that’s sexist. I don’t like her because she’s the epitome of bad leadership in corporate America. HP was a great company. You couldn’t walk into a lab or testing facility without seeing some super piece of test equipment from HP sitting in some prime laboratory real estate.
Now you’re only likely to find the HP brand in a pile of cheap broken PC printers.
But I have to say, she does sound personally interesting with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and medieval history from Stanford.
From what I recall, H-P was already in dire straits when Fiorina took over. She made a bold attempt by buying Compaq and that unfortunately did not help H-P.
But think about this...one does not get anointed CEO of a large corporation without a long and successful resume.
