Full title: Ben Carsons Gay-Making Prisons, and the Insurgent/Petulant/Crusader Split Among GOP Anti-Establishmentarians: Why not all 'outsiders' are built the same, and how that might benefit Ted Cruz.

This was a clumsy unforced error by Ben Carson. He’s a great individual, but is not ready for prime time and all their gameplaying with gotcha questions. Ben looks young but he’s 63 years old, and not likely to drastically change the way he expresses himself. At least we see this now, not during the national debates as we did with Perry. If a republican is somehow elected, I hope Carson becomes the Surgeon General of the U.S. then hires a team of aides who will provide all quotations to the media.

As far as Carson’s concerned with regards to the presidency, the last thing we need is to give the PC crowd a do-over in selecting a black president.
It was tried and it failed... Maybe in a hundred years it might be time to re-visit it.

Oh I see, the Libertarian rag is trashing everyone but Rand Paul and wants us to believe that their brand (which totally falls on its face when it isn’t lying and saying it’s conservative and Republican) is the only way forward?! Um, I’ll pass!

First of all, I think the correct answer to that question, from any presidential candidate, is "Why are you asking me that weird-ass question?" (The reply to which, if given honestly, would be "Because we're hoping you'll say something stupid, ya freak!") Because newsrooms are overpopulated with homosexuals compared to the general population coast to coast. It is a litmus test question, if you are not down with the homofascists, you must be pinklisted in the media.

The best answer he should have given is I don’t know. I wouldn’t spend a lot of time on this subject if I wanted to win.

I agree with Dr. Carson. Anne Heche — need I say more?
And he’s right. Marriage is a state issue, not a Federal one.

He lived down to the stereotype? Is that the stereotype of a brain surgeon being asked a question about homosexuality? He is too smart to be tricked by pc slogans.
His answer was smart and true. I’m not happy with “conservatives” singing false PC platitudes about homos or anything else. He should have also mentioned the high rate of AIDS among the Black heterosexual population due to prison homo behavior among heterosexual men.

This is looking like a rerun of the post-Reagan Republican Presidential primaries: a well-funded establishment candidate (likely Jeb Bush) vs. a crowd of conservatives of various stripes, plus a libertarian or two. We better hope the Democrats fumble the ball, as they did with the hapless John Kerry in 2004 or Mike Dukakis in 1988.
