Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas has earned a singular honor once reserved for movie villains, according to a Friday story on Breitbart TV. Bill Maher laid into the possible Republican presidential candidates on his HBO political rant show. He had little good to say about any of them, but he reserved a special sort of ire, on the level of what he has used for Sarah Palin, for Cruz. Putting it simply, the bad boy of pay for view cable is deathly afraid of the junior senator from Texas.
Maher minced no words about how terrified he is about Cruz. Maher then turned to Ted Cruz, who he said was a real a**hole who oozed down from Canada, was the scariest Hispanic to come out of [Texas] since Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men,' and is what youd get if Ayn Rand had half a sex-change and moved to Waco.
Javier Bardem is an actor who hails from Spain and is most famous for playing a psychotic murderer in the before mentioned movie. However, his politics could not be more different that Cruzs....

Agree. Asian and Indian votes are UP FOR GRABS, assuming that Republicans can find people that speak Asian and Indian.
The children of Asians and Indians are GETTING ROYALLY SCREWED by colleges and others that are limiting their numbers, so as to have a “more representative” student body. Republicans could OWN those groups...but they have to try to reach them, and that seems to be asking too much. They seem MUCH MORE INTERESTED in trying to figure out how to stop Ted Cruz.
Good. That confirms that Cruz gets my vote.
Bob Beckel, leftist voice of The Five, is squarely in Cruz’s corner, though. He thinks having Cruz be the Republican presidential candidate would spell doom for the party, so he boosts Ted every time his name comes up on the Five.
Notice that they never go beyond "terrifies". They can never come up with any specifics -- just the generality, "terrifies".
Maher is not against all republicans though.
“I am available to the Rand Paul campaign.” Maher said.
Did you mean “libertarians?”
Yes. What “terrifies” reprobates such as Maher is any about face in our amoral, libertine culture and having a mirror held up to their putrid, worthless lives. Disgusting cockroaches that scurry for the baseboards when light is shined on them (think: abortionist Gosnell baby murder pictures).
Sounds like what the Dims said of Goldwater when he ran for President in 64
IF somehow Cruz and Palin could join ranks....I bet that would cause Maher to lose his bladder and then have a stroke.
However, I don’t see either person being willing to being second fiddle to the other. So, a Cruz/Palin or Palin/Cruz ticket don’t seem possible to me.
Whatever, in regards to it screwing with Maher, it is an interesting thought though. Ted Cruz is the real deal and has shown he won’t back down (even when it was very unpopular to not do so). I can see how that would scare a liberal like Maher. The question is not would Senator Cruz make a great POTUS (I think that self evident), but is he able to prevail in a general election to become one? Each year to country leans farther to the left (especially the up and coming young voters).
That does it: I’m supporting Mr. Cruz!!
Isn’t “Maher” the German word for really bad / lumpy “skid marks” in someone’s underwear?
Ever notice that Maher has no shoulders?
I think Maher would be scared of small spider...(not to take anything away from Cruz, of course.)
...and against Reagan by RINOs in 76 and RATS & RINOs in 80 & 84.
