Following is the full text of the Republican Address to the Nation by Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), as prepared for delivery:
"Good evening.
"I'm Joni Ernst. As a mother, a soldier, and a newly elected senator from the great State of Iowa, I am proud to speak with you tonight.
"A few moments ago, we heard the President lay out his vision for the year to come. Even if we may not always agree, it's important to hear different points of view in this great country. We appreciate the President sharing his.
"Tonight though, rather than respond to a speech, I'd like to talk about your priorities. I'd like to have a conversation about the new Republican Congress you just elected, and how we plan to make Washington focus on your concerns again.
"We heard the message you sent in November - loud and clear. And now we're getting to work to change the direction Washington has been taking our country.
"The new Republican Congress also understands how difficult these past six years have been. For many of us, the sting of the economy and the frustration with Washington's dysfunction weren't things we had to read about. We felt them every day.

I thought it SUCKED. Where was “STOP OBAMA CARE” Where was “get these illegals our of our country!!?” Im telling you— these republicrats are no damned good. 7 minute speech that was putrid weak. Find us a leader and let’s wreck this crap.

I was disappointed in the Colonel, too laid back and sweet. No gusto like Palin would have given it. Sorry, I don’t see the crowds flocking to her like they did with Palin. Not that I see her as a VP candidate. I’m sure we will see her ridicules come Saturday night on SNL. I guess we have to get use to Business as usual with the GOP. I hope they can get their feces together before 2016. We’ll have to see.
I’d settle for just “stop obozo” at this point.
I didn’t watch it, but I’ve seen enough highlights that continue to disappoint me. She looked and acted like she was reading to a group of Camp Fire Girls.

It's nice that Ernst is an (R), and I'm glad she was elected, but please keep that woman away from cameras and microphones.

So I’m going to conclude that the GOP is aiming for a Dixie Chicks tribute session:
“Not Ready To Make Nice With The People Who Put Us In Office”.
She deserves it. And the GOP-e morons who wasted this golden opportunity to reach the voters without the MSM distorting the message will give themselves raises.
We could have blacks vote for him in droves fr $15 a vote from cornhole and rove!!
