That sound you just heard was me falling on the floor. The TEA Party, the base, Evangelicals and the Jewish community isn't enough to win the primaries?

Followed by Romney, Christie and Huntsman.

Bogus poll.

I honestly can believe people would be enamored with Jeb Bush so much that he’d win these kinds of poll. This is getting past the “name-recognition” stage where as I’ve said before, we have a diet of these kinds of article every few days.

Jeb Bush has not spoken up on issues the way, Cruz clearly has. I hardly know anything about him except the basics, common core and amnesty. I understand Jeb Bush is pro-life too, unfortunately, none of the Bush’s did that much for the pro-life movement in 12 years in the WH. They did some, don’t get me wrong and that is appreciated.

Where’d they take the poll, South Beach?

Rubio is irrelevant...

Anyone who thinks RP, Junior and Krispy Kreme have a better chance than Ted Cruz is probably smoking crack.

I know that hysteria is sometimes what we do at FR, but it’s pretty early to be losing it over what national journal thinks of the slate of candidates — none of whom have even declared yet.

Anyone that understands anything about our base and our nominating process knows that the 5 people that wrote that article are clueless about us.

Of the two, I’d prefer Rubio.

It’s something like having to choose between a poke in the eye with a sharp stick or a swift kick in the ‘nads.
I choose ‘Neither’.

Jeb Bush is from one of the most powerful and richest families in America. If Jeb runs (and I think he will) then he will get the nomination. No one can stop him. His campaign plan has been written. It won't be amateurish like Romney. I'm telling you now Freepers...Jeb will be the candidate. I know, we don't want him. But greater powers will prevail.

I’ve got Jockey shorts older than you, noob.

And a pair of them are standing up on a chair, as Crusty as one of Hillary’s pantsuits.

Yeah, James Webb, Lieawatha, Chris Matthews—any of a number of ‘rats—could beat JEB. Running him would be GOP seppuku.
They aren’t that stooped. Or maybe you’re precocious.

Wish they may, wish they might, can’t make the rest of us think their handpicks are RIGHT.

Cruz has plenty of successful experience running up against GOPe, starting with TexGOPe.

Your boy Jeb is just too much like Dear Ol Mom.

If doubt you are even close to right, but if the power and money jam Jeb on us through the Primaries, he will be in for a big surprise come November.

I’ll vote for his opponent too.

And trust me, he needs every last bit of NW Florida, or he can’t win.

The only ones I see that are qualified are Cruz and Walker.

Only the Alligators in the Florida swamp like Rubio.

Jeb, you got to be kidding, I don’t know anyone who wants another Bush. He knows it too, he won’t go to Iowa, Bush has more baggage than Samsonite.

Christie is yesterday’s news. Rand Paul has shown he is as flakey as his dad. The fact that he was Tea Party and backed Mitch makes him a RINO.

Ted Cruz is getting bad press but if the real GOP base who are likely voters were polled Cruz is in the top 3.

What we need is to close these primaries to Dems and Independents so for once the base will be listened to and monkey business won’t take place.

Now we have lots of GOP Governors and State houses under Republican control, time to make GOP primaries honest and closed.

I wouldn’t discount James Webb. If he gets the nomination he will position himself as the last Reagan Democrat and run to the right of Jeb Bush.

Jeb Bush wins going away among the members of my private golf club. So Jeb Bush will get more campaign donations than anyone else. Also if all of the above run, so many conservative votes get split up, Jeb has the same advantage as Romney had in 2012.

Conservatives must UNITE and get behind ONE candidate after first 3 primaries are over. Otherwise we get either of the RINO’s in the above list.

Totally principles-free, and without regard to the base of the formerly grand old party.
