I would prefer Biden to Christie. Both would have the same policies, but the GOP-e would occasionally oppose Biden.

If I listed my top 3,000 choices for the White House, Christie would not make the list. I would take an unknown small-town mayor over Christie (or Romney, or Rubio, or Jeb Bush).
