don’t worry.. the pubs still have time to blow it.
Interesting chart. Thanks. I hope Republicans don’t get cocky.
i do not understand it... why is Kansas purple if no toss ups? is NC staying blue or going red? according to the map, it is blue... according to the chart it is red...
I hate so sound like “Sam Breakstone” in the old cottage cheese commercials, but this isn’t good enough. They will need 55 45 to maintain control in 16’ because the will probably loose more next cycle. It’s their own dang fault. They have ticked us off, we ain’t giving, we don’t trust them ( Cochran / MS ) and the did everything they could to only get RINO’s on the ticket. I will pull the lever for our “R” but with no enthusiasm or desire to help her team ( Terry Lynn Land ). The GOP can treat me like crap now and in the future if they want. I don’t have to play dysfunctional and take it, and see where that leads them...
Just enough to control the senate, but not enough to get anything done.
Stupid, stupid Michigan...
Note that Congress has exercised its power to override vetoes as relatively recently as Bushes 41 & 43, and also with Clinton.
List of United States presidential vetoes
So don't tell me that Congress will never be able to exersise its power to override presidential vetoes.
Maybe for 2016, but I'm not betting anything.
The map shows Kansas as purple—the combined totals for Democrats and Republicans add up to 99, so they seem to regard that one as too close to call.
I hope NH and MN will go R and Roberts get re-elected.
