At least one House Republican thinks Mitt Romney will make another run for the White House in 2016 — and this time, he says the 2012 runner-up will emerge victorious.
“I think he actually is gonna run for president. He probably doesn’t want me to say that,” Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) told host Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Monday. Chaffetz also backed the former Massachusetts governor early in the GOP nomination process for 2012.
“A hundred times he says he’s not, but Mitt Romney has always accomplished what he’s set out to do. I think he’s proven right on a lot of stuff. I happen to be in the camp that thinks he’s actually going to run and I think he will be the next president of the United States,” he said.
Romney has been the focus of much recent speculation regarding a possible run, but he has repeatedly brushed it aside. Yet, the former governor has weighed in on the political world this year, from endorsing Senate candidate Scott Brown to admonishing the White House for its handling of the rapidly deteriorating situation in Iraq and the surrounding region.
Yes. Emperor Romney WILL represent the GOP.

I have never understood the fascination with zombies. Nor some peoples’ devotion to the “next in line” mindset. If Romney had honor, he would own as a personal failure, his abysmal effort in ‘08, and take himself out and get behind a conservative.
Actually they think that after 8 years of all the bad that Obama brought that Republicans will vote for any Republican on the ticket just to keep a Democrat out of the White House. I think they are delusional.
Folks who waste their time especially now, worrying about Mitt Romney, when we have Barack Hussein Obama, are seriously misguided.
He had a good chance in 2012 but was an awful candidate with no principles.
[If Romney got the White House] ... I predict the Demos would get more accomplished in such an environment than they are doing now.

Moral America sleeps soundly knowing they feared God more than they feared Obama, and did the right thing: turned their noses up at the whole charade.
Pray for a Second Party Presidential candidates. Let whether or not the ridiculous Republican brand can salvage its Eagle Individual American image to congressional races. For president in 2016, we had better be strategizing NOW to address the void that will exist when Romney or a like-minded leftist "moderate" gets the GOP nomination. There's going to be a void because roughly 60 percent of actual productive Americans have no one to vote for what they want, which is less government on all fronts.
They can only choose between pro-government candidates belonging to one party that goes by two names: Republican, and Democrat.
They're smarter than to be tricked into voting against their own moral and financial interests. They'll blow it off first.

This is a guy who stated on tape that he believes that a pregnant minor whose parents refuse consent for an abortion has the right to go to a judge to overrule them.
This is the guy whose hand moved the pen, with his signature, across a proclamation praising Gay Youth Pride, and its outreach to kids as young as 6th graders. His hand moved that pen.

You can vote for that if you want. Like me, you're going to have to answer to God for a lot of junk some day. I don't know about you, but I already have PLENTY of it. Screw voting for an amoral monster who, once he got in office, would be enacting evil WITH MY ENDORSEMENT. Screw that, Williams. I love America and I love God more than that. If another more powerful amoral monster is the consequence, that's the way it is.
Folks who refuse to learn from their past mistakes and learn from history, specifically, don't vote for Progressive Liberals pretending to be Republicans, are bound to make the same mistakes again.
