A whole lot of words to say “I hate Sarah Palin”.....So you hate Sarah Palin. So does Obama, and his entire party. But what I ask you is this: What have you done to defeat the marxists lately?”

____________________________________________________________

Since this ridiculous comment states the wrong premise to begin with, it’s also the ridiculous false alternative you find in a worshipper’s mentality. As if the only positions one could have is you either “hate” Palin, or if not, she then must be loved (by inference). It’s this worship mentality she instill in her shills that they bristle even at the slightest criticism of her. But the facts as I stated them are indeed accurate. Her endorsement power HAS diminished from what it was. In 2010 she was gold standard - almost everyone she decided to endorse turned to gold. But embedded in that was an implicit promise to her flock: she would suit up and run for POTUS in 2012. When she backed out in 2011 from that POTUS run, many of her followers felt abandoned. Which would explain the diminished returns her endorsements recorded in 2012. And when she actually endorsed Orrin Hatch in 2012 - he probably being one of THE most establishment GOP types, her stock fell further still. Now, as of today, she’s endorsed a significant number of those for running for office, yet far more have lost than won. The exact inverse from 4 years ago. Since Palin has basically staked her reputation politically on her power to select candidates for office, the fact it’s waned doesn’t help her. And in truth, she herself has helped to diminish it by simply telling everyone else what to do. She tells politicians how to vote; she tells voters whom to back; and then she trots off to go do her next television show.

It’s not going to be long before someone can start to question - legitimately - what it is that Palin herself is actually going to do to solve problems? Telling Paul Ryan his budget sucks (and it well might) is one thing. Fine - then tell Palin to drag her butt onto a ballot, get enough votes to win, and write a better one (if she can). It’s far too easy for her to stand on the sidelines with her waning megaphone and screech about how others are failing. But if she decides not to stand for office to solve the political problems she does nothing but build her fame upon (i.e., her brand she cashes in on), then why should anyone listen to her? Criticism of others has a shelf life - for anyone about anything. Sarah Palin has spent the last 5 years doing little more than complaining about the political performances from others. It’s time for her to put up or shut up. Let’s see her run for an office again. Let’s see her have to go sidle up to the financiers she’s going to need to underwrite a campaign. Let’s see her have to deal with a media that would have to cover her, a media she’s done nothing but immaturely antagonize with adolescent name calling. Let’s see her walk the walk about all of the policy decisions she thins are so simple to enact - from the cheerleader sidelines. If she succeeds at any of that, fine. But all upper case type-screaming from her facebook page, and signing deals with an obscure cable channel to star in her own TV show is not problem solving.

And..what have I done? I vetted candidates on my own time for a TEA Party group so they could endorse (helping to unearth the RINO-ness of the atrocious Monica Wehby in Oregon). I donate my hard earned money to the Senate Conservatives Fund. So I do actual deeds. Unlike some legal eagle loudmouth criticizer radio host who is simple the Morton Downey Jr. of talk radio.

Well, it sounds like you HAVE done your fair share and then some so congrats. I stand corrected if I thought otherwise.

But I also think you have an extensive knowledge of every “sin” that Sarah Palin is guilty of, as though tearing her apart politically is important to you.

For what it’s worth, even though my name is palin45potus that’s more wishful thinking combined with a lack of an adequate replacement that is responsible for my not having changed it, because I doubt that she is gonna run. I hope so, but it’s just my gut feeling on this day and hour. She’s got a life in Alaska with a family who like it there, so if she sees someone who fits her idea of a solid conservative, I suspect she’ll be “all in” in terms of support.

But I ask you: Why do you feel the need to denigrate her so? Do you want her to go away and never be heard from again? If so, why? Should we leave the world of GOP politics to Karl Rove and the “Big Money” people who he represents? Because they can and will change sides and support the Dems for a dollar more.

At any rate, keep up all your hard work for conservatives.

I appreciate you explaining your position. If you can take the time, I recommend to you the documentary about Gov. Palin called Undefeated. You might be able to rent it on Netflix or buy it at Amazon. It goes through her record in government, starting with her time as Mayor of Wasilla. People are interviewed and they talk about the reforms she made every step of the way in various offices she held. She has, literally, been there, done that, when it comes to fixing government and there’s no doubt she can lay out a blue print for fixing what’s wrong with our Federal government.
