You know, I also thought it odd so many would still support her after she quit her governorship mid term, her only national political position.

I don't see the point in antagonizing her fan club.
She ceased to be a serious political player a long time ago, and the waterboard/baptize comment was an unserious comment from an unserious person.

You could only dream of having a woman for a 1/2 term like Sarah Palin.
If Sarah would have had a Conservative at the top of the ticket instead of Juan "Amnesty" MeCain it would be a different story.
..and a MeCain campaign manager like Steve 'asshole" Schimdt demeaning and belittling her during the campaign.
