ABC chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl says many of Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz’s fellow Republican senators despise him — like, really, totally hate him.
“The Republicans in the Senate had this all set. This was going to be able to pass with only Democratic votes. He stands up, says ‘I’m going to filibuster’, suddenly they need 60 votes,” Karl explained on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday, speaking of last week’s vote to increase the debt ceiling. “I’ll tell you, Ted Cruz is so hated among his Republicans now — more so than even during the shutdown — that at the Tuesday lunch they have, every Tuesday, he’s going to need a food taster.”

If we had Cruz in control we could get great mileage of Obama’s failures and yet the GOPe goes after the guy who is Ronald Reagans ideological son.
You got the Chamber of Whores, spending 50 million to go after the Tea Party Patriots, who without the GOPe took over the house from Ms. Pelosi.
Get out of Cruz’s way, and let the Tea Party show you how to take over the Senate.

Jon Karl would like nothing better than to stir up a battle between Tea Party Republicans and the Republican Lite. Divide an conquer. We can have differences among family members, but that is something Lefty journalist should keep their nose out of.

They envy that, because their actions have outed them as being in bed with the political enemies of this country, its Constitution, and its people.
As long as Cruz is in a position to do his thing, he will be showing up that bunch of no-loads, and they, especially the GOPe, will resent it.
