November 12, 2012: George P. Bush Is Ready to Save the GOP

The Republican grousing began right away on Election Night once Florida began tilting towards Obama, with some on the right predictably blaming Romney as too middle-of-the-road, while the vast majority of GOP pundits zeroed in on what really lost them the White House: the party's horrendous performance among Hispanics, the fastest growing slice of the electorate. All of a sudden Fox News's Sean Hannity was in favor of "a pathway to citizenship" for illegal immigrants, and his peers were all gaga for rising Hispanic GOP stars like Florida Senator Marco Rubio, New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, and Texas Senator Elect Ted Cruz. To add to this list: George P. Bush, nephew of Bush 43 and grandson of Bush 41.

The eldest son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who already leads the 2016 GOP presidential field and is married to Mexican-born Columba "Colu" Bush, George P. Bush is not exactly new to politics. Back in 1988, when he was just 12, he spoke at the Republican National Convention where his grandfather was first nominated, returning to address the gathering four years later. In 2000 he campaigned for his uncle, then-Texas Governor George W. Bush, and was back again in 2004 to tout the president's comprehensive immigration reform proposals, ultimately scuppered by the Democrat-controlled Senate. And there he was at this year's storm-battered GOP convention in Tampa to represent the Bush dynasty yet again.

Coming from a political clan rooted in both Florida and Texas (not to mention Connecticut back in the day), the question has never been if George Prescott Garnica Bush would run for elected office but when and where.

While he MIGHT have been a darling to Florida and national conservatives, Jeb Bush is married to a native of Mexico (Columba is the daughter of a migrant worker). And before you scream “ethnocentric bigot” at me, there’s nothing inherently wrong with that. Love knows no bounds.

George P. Bush is Jeb’s kid. Both he and junior are ALLEGED to be Republicans (RINOS?) but they are probably afflicted with a form of cultural schizophrenia, having a foot (or other body parts) in both cultures which may partially explain WHY they’re pushing AMNESTY. They’ve forgotten that THEIR loyalty SHOULD be to el Estados Unidos (sorry, the United States) and they swore oathes to the Constitution HERE, not that of Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguy, etc.

And why the Pubbies are falling all over themselves to court the 16.4% (50,477,594) of allegedly LEGAL RESIDENTS who call themselves Hispanic is beyond reason. And that a number of Pubbies are hell bent on hiking that number by another 11 to 20 MILLION NEW VOTERS, a large percentage of whom — conditioned to the freebies and other goodies supplied over the years by BOTH parties — WILL BE DEMOCRATS, causes one to question their sanity.

Memo to the GOP: With a number of exceptions, the bulk of the hispanics already here are NOT Pubbies and the new ones won’t be either. Do you clowns have a DEATH WISH??

Between the invasion from the south and the Muslim invasion, any vestige of European culture — the culture MY great-grandparents and probably yours brought here after standing in line at places like Ellis Island, being interrogated, proving they had a “sponsor”, being deloused and recorded — will be a distant memory – IF it’s remembered at all.

And if — in some strange and metastasizing American desire to return to a royal family dynasty — Jeb or his son should win the White House in some future presidential beauty contest designed to divert the American electorate every four years, I’d bet that HIS activities toward this alien invasion will make W’s behavior look like a warm-up exercise.

All of that said, ya’ gotta wonder about why Rand Paul is now making pro-amnesty noises.

I don’t know why its so difficult to understand that immigration policy should serve the interests of citizens.

It should not be used for shaping demographics, or wage rates, or voting patterns, or as a marketing ploy to support this or that political party and it is not an end in itself.

It should serve the interests of citizens. I have never heard and I doubt we will ever hear of citizens being consulted on immigration policy. They will never consult the public on the numbers of immigrants to be admitted each year. They will never consult the public on which countries will be given priority and which will be denied on general principles. They will never consult the public even to give them real numbers or the real policies.

This is something they decide in private and impose by decree.

The demographic analysis post-election did not attribute the 2012 loss to Hispanics not voting GOP. Hispanics represented only 8% of voters, not enough to deny the election to the GOP.

Demographic analysis concluded that the key demographic that the GOP lost in 2012 was the old Perot Bloc, the more than 6 million strong blue collar conservative voters; they chose not to vote for Romney because he represented everything they were against.

Republicans win landslides when a conservative nominee brings together the GOP base, the conservative Perot Bloc, the Reagan Democrats and the independents.

Hispanics that have been in the USA for generations vote republican. The newbies that are after government handouts vote democrat.
