All three of the categories are described in terms that are totally dishonest.
I say this is dumb as hell. Condi Rice? Mitch Daniels? TPaw? The retired Ron Paul? Gingrich again?! Why not have me and Bob McDonnell on the freakin’ list? RNC sucks as usual.
Narrow it down to people who are actually going to run instead of people who’ve already declared retirement and those who’ve left the political circuit altogether.

Granted, some of these are awful, but at least they are actually possibly going to run. Rob Portman? Give me a freakin’ break. The guy is going to be lucky if he wins reelection next time around.
On this list you have 7 governors, 4 senators, 1 crappy representative, and 2 outsider candidates.
Now obviously we can’t have a field of 14 candidates, so this will be whittled down, but its out of these people who ends up on the debate stage.
I say Ron Paul and Ted Cruz are the only two on the list that looked good to me.
This guy is an idiot, and he doesn’t know that most tea party fiscal conservatives, are also “bible thumpers”.
He doesn’t know the makeup of who is conservative, the non-religious are mostly liberals, so they makeup a much smaller portion of the right, and that of course applies to the tea party as well.

My choices are Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. In that order. Scott Walker is my third. Dr. Ben Carson would be my forth choice.

Senators have won election to the presidency, of course. But of all the senators who have ever run for POTUS, none has defeated a sitting president, and one - Warren G. Harding, in a wave election - has defeated governor. So why do we consider senators and private citizens for the nomination? Are we so sure of victory that we don’t need to nominate candidates with elected executive experience? Or is our gubernatorial bench so weak that we cannot find such to run?
