A Newt-Hillary debate would be entertaining, but he can’t be our best choice.
Actually, I like Newt. He’s not perfect. Has baggage. But he thinks outside the box, and expresses himself and our message very well, and I rather enjoyed his ideas, which were more ambitious than anybody elses. Santorum could never win because he had no ideas. He just stood around banners and had, on his website, almost to the bitter end, “the evils of pornagraphy” on the top of his issues page.
Newt at least had the flat tax, and even interesting, free-market ways we might start a race to the moon to setup a colony. It’s not like that does not benefit us in any way. There are resources on the moon, and in space in general, that tapping into would change the very nature of our economy. Wouldn’t happen right away, of course, but it be an exciting future.
Wow, it’s gonna’ be a looooooooong political season this time around and we have to win the presidency or our heads may just be in the noose.

yeah it is BS, but that is how it will play out.

I do remember when many people said “Stop Hillary any way we can!”
I also remember “The Chicago machine stopped the Clintons.” That surprised me.
If only. I really hate the way he’s trashed by his own party.
For all his flaws, he’s one of the best we’ve ever had.
Let’s run Newt again! That way not only can we lose in another spectacular flame out but we can also ban all the FReepers who don’t support him like last time.
