Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be back in Iowa Saturday.
The Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition says Palin will be a featured speaker at its annual family banquet being held on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.
Palin will join a speaking lineup that includes Senator Mike Lee of Utah.
Palins last formal appearance in the state was at a 2011 rally in Indianola.
Another high profile Republican will be in the state on Monday. Former presidential candidate and Iowa Caucus Winner Rick Santorum will be heading to Jordan Creek Mall to watch a movie.
The former Pennsylvania senator will attend a screening of The Christmas Candle at 7 p.m. He is the CEO of the production company that made the motion picture.
Santorum will talk to the media before the movie begins.
The visits come after another former presidential hopeful, Texas Governor Rick Perry visited Des Moines Thursday for a GOP dinner.
Perry will also be Dave Prices guest on The Insiders this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on Channel 13.
N O M O R E SANTORUM...
ENOUGH ALREADY...MOVE ON RICK..STAY HOME AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY...This Pennsylvanian is fed up with you...boring..
new blood needed..
and good bye john mccain, orrian hatch, and all the rest of the Rino...sick of the old blood...
Ping
Iowa, eh?
That is a good point, and a good observation.
I’m relieved they aren’t together, that headline had me wondering what was going on.
I hope Palin wears a sweater vest.
Things I’d love to see: President Palin appoints HHS Secretary Rick Santorum.
