Did the rebels launch sarin gas Attack?

When you add two even numbers and your answer is an odd number, you have to suspect you are wrong. When you conclude the Syrian government launched the sarin gas attack, you get an odd number, you have to wonder why the answer is also odd. Carla Del Ponte., speaking of the first gas attack, told the UN that her investigation revealed concrete suspicions that the rebels had actually launched the attack.

“ "Our investigators have been in neighboring countries interviewing victims, doctors and field hospitals and, according to their report of last week which I have seen, there are strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof of the use of sarin gas, from the way the victims were treated."”

“ "This was use on the part of the opposition, the rebels, not by the government authorities."

The question, for anyone who can do a benefit analysis, the question ought to answer itself.

I strongly agree. I believe this is an example of self- plagiarism where ones continues to repackage the same stories and post numerous times in an effort to generate buzz.

I prefer to mind our own business so that when the shtf here we don’t have outsiders coming to aid the oppressors.

Indeed.

And the fact that Obama/Kerry didn't waste any time on such an analysis tells you that they either knew the answer as to WHO DID IT or they didn't care. Supporting al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood is the priority with this administration and that is the path they took. At least until Putin messed up their now aborted plan.

When will America wake up to these Bozos?

I’m thinking that the preordained answer has been in the hopper longer than that goofy video.

I remember in the Benghazi threads within days of the Benghazi attack, that intel community cognizant bloggers reported some 100ton of weaponry had been shipped from Benghazi to Turkey for the Syrian rebels a week to weeks before the attack.

Adjacent reports directly indicated Syrian rebels in that area between Turkey and Syria were being trained in how to load chemical artillery rounds with foreign trainers associate with the same transfer of munitions (read as though they were intel or military trainers in the area on independent missions and US controlled.)

I don’t know if those reports were true or false, but whoever was making them, also was making them about activities consistent with highly illegal crimes against humanity which occurred weeks to months later.

Accepting the reports that chemical weapons have been used, the prior reports either point to the US as having direct involvement or in a false flag by others attempting to label the US has having direct involvement.

Either the rebels made the attacks or somebody within the Assad power structure who wanted to set up a contrived conflict to remove Assad from power.

Given Obama’s blatent demand for the removal of Assad, it is not the case that Obama would disapprove of actions to remove Assad from power.

Obviously Obama has the same intel so when Assad offers to surrender his chemical munitions and Russia agrees, Obama has no valid basis to reject the offer, unless Obama set up the entire scenario as a false flag excuse to remove Assad, the same way Gaddafi was removed.

Given Obama’s blatent accusation of Syria of using chemical munitions on their own population, we have a consistent case of Obama painting a false flag to promote a war similar to Syria to topple the Syrian government.

Given the history of so many other Islamic leaning nations around the Med having fallen in the last 7 years to identical supposed uprisings, we are NOT observing natural rebellions, but an organized campaign to reshape the mideast control by forces which lack staffing or in depth military planning personnel resources so as to reuse the same operational plans on multiple consecutive operations.

There are adequate facts to show Assad isn’t the source behind the chemical weapon attacks. Either a rebellious junior beneath him used them or the rebels trained by US trainers used them. Whoever used them, is trying to set up a false flag.

I don’t know if it is Obama and a number of black ops associated with the US ....or if it is Islamic jihadists wrapped up in a successful international campaign seeking to overcome national orders.

Obama strongly appears to share the same objectives as the jihadists.

For this reason and considering we have the exact same players we have had in past atrocities such as the Branch Davidian compound, Libya, Benghazi, 9-11 etc, I have no trust faith or confidence in the abilities or veracity of Obama, Kerry, Clinton, et al.

The really scary thing is that the behavior of Obama is nearly identical between Libya, Syria, Eqypt, his re-election campaign, his phonecalls to the President of GM, and a number of other sociopathic demands of other leaders.

When considering these points and listening to Obama, I am left with the impression he is a very skilled liar, who has no sense of compassion for any fellow man, and would promote such a campaign of killing his enemies with nerve gas and attempt to blame them for his actions.

I suspect we have a very sick person at the top and there isn’t anything keeping him committing very heinous actions.

My belief as well.

Very nice, comprehensive and, IMHO, accurate analysis of the Syrian situation. I wish we could see more of this on good old FR.

There are many rebel groups, there are also independent groups fighting on Assad’s side that he does not control... like Hezbollah.

It is a very strange and Byzantine type of war.
