I don’t care whether gay marriage is legal, but I’ve hoped, for three years, that Pat Brady would quit. In 2010, I ran for the state house. I thought that the state party chairman would be neutral, before the primary, but he endorsed the most liberal Republican in my race.
This author’s rant fails to mention Pat Brady’s wife is battling cancer. If I was Mr. Brady, I think my time would be more well spent helping my wife than promoting homo hitchin’. IMO, that’s why he called it quits.
Wonderful. And he removed himself from the Republican Party because he is a gay activist. Good riddance to bad, although well educated, rubbish. Just another further example that a higher education isn’t the be all and end all of existence. Doesn’t take into account morality and rational logic. He can’t divest himself from his true persona, a gay activist. As stated many times before, liberalism is a mental disease.
Added keyword “whiningliberals” because that’s all this is.
It’s not a “moderate Republican” state, you moonbat. They are LIBERAL “Republicans.”
The only thing republican about the Illinois Republican Party is the name.
Who should the next chairman be? I think it should be a conservative who has been a county party chairman and an elected official. A few good choices are Jo Ann Osmond, of Lake Co.; William Keck, of Kane Co.; and William LeFew, of McHenry Co.
I confess I’m not familiar with any of them. But I’m sure any of them would be better than Brady.
Smash the Patriarchy is the name of their game. They aren’t seeking “civil rights”, they are out to tear down the institutions of the establishment. Same as always. Last ditch effort by the red diaper doper babies of the 1960s.
And they are still throwing temper tantrums.
The editor sounds like a ribbon bully.
*Moonbat whiner alert*
With all that whining and bashing of AL & MS, it’s well worth pointing out both states have growing Republican majorities, unlike the corrupt combiner soviet of Illinois.
It was never your party, assface.
I think he means the Log Cabin Republicans.
And now, an op-ed piece from Pat Brady’s domestic partner...
This fruit was once a staffer for the late RINO Ted Stevens. He’s been a full throated communist since he “left” the GOP.
Such anger, clearly he needs a boyfriend.
I nominate Joe Walsh for IL GOP Chair. However, the Jim Edgars, and Jim Thompsons will say that Joe Walsh’s comments caused Judy Biggert and Robert Dold to lose.
Yep, the only “hatred” and “bigotry” I see is coming from this guy’s column.
Yeah, I detected a whiff of “Jeb Eddy” there too.
